Defective Motor in Fan

I purchased this fan and paid for Lowe's designated electrician to do the installation. The electrician could not get fan to work once he installed it, so it is apparently defective. I've had to call Lowes a couple of times to get this situation resolved and I'm still waiting on the replacement fan - and of course, another electrician to do the installation. Frustrating.

Looks good, quiet, slow remote, replaced light

We have had this about 4 years (date code 0218). I do like the looks of this fan with the 7 thin blades. I am using this in my home office (converted bedroom). This does move air from just barely to being able to blow papers around. I also like that this is very quiet. All features of the fan are controlled by the included remote. Amazing ceiling fan!!

This is the 2nd ceiling fan of this brand that we bought. It works great. You can feel the air circulation from the other side of the room. We even raised the temp on the A/C because this ceiling fan works so well!!

Best outdoor fan

This is an awesome outdoor fan! We put it outside because my elderly mother has started wanting to sit outside more often and the summer months in Texas are a bit warm. It’s quiet, it has a remote control, there’s an option to turn the light on and off. It really was a great purchase for us. Happy birthday to my mama.

Installation was went well. The fan is quiet and effective. Time will tell how well it holds up.

Quiet DC motor

I have read some of the negative reviews, but recently put up another model of a Fanimation so I knew what was involved. I have not had any problems with remote, all functions work. Install has many wires for the receiver and power, but they are all labeled. No more AC motor fans for me, I am spoiled with these new DC fans, especially for the bedroom.

Only wish it was compatible with Lutron switches. Other than that seems like a nice fan for outdoor patio.

Loud Grinding

Year 4 on the fan and now it makes a loud grinding noise in the motor. Read the warranty before you purchase this brand. They will cover the replacement part but won’t cover labor after a year. It seems competitors are offering a better warranty program and hopefully they last more than 4 years.
