Well built and great for our covered patio

My husband tried to get ahead of the instructions a couple of times and had to backtrack but he got this thing put together and installed in a couple hours. Beautiful addition to our outdoor patio.

avoid at all cost

From the very beginning this fan had issues. the remote was junk and would rarely work to control this fan. Fanimation sent me a new remote that worked but then the fan would constantly turn itself off. i have had good luck with other Fanimation fans but not this one.

Poorly designed and made junk with bad instructions. Save yourself trouble and stay away.

Great price, nice options, & quiet!

Simple contemporary design; option to use it without light kit; DC motor to save energy; remote; reversible for summer & winter; the app really helped with installation.

Good, but...

There is a snarl of wire nuts that has to be crammed into very limited space that is occupied by the remote receiver. There should be a single 5 pin connector. The remote is kinda screwy. Light dimming, both up and down, is controlled by the same button depending on whether the light is turned on with the power button or the dimming button (huh?). The fan speed has separate buttons for up and down. It would be better to have 5 discrete buttons for speed and light dimming.

Great fan buy it!

Product quality was high end. The instructions were clear and concise. The remote control is so easy to use and the best feature is the walkway shut off. Overall a fabulous fan. I now have 2 fanimation fans, really well made.

Motors Make Noise & Fail

I purchased three of these fans two years ago for a brand new built home. After a year the indoor fan started making a clunking noise and would not go to full speed. After a few minutes, it would shut off by itself. I replaced this fan with the same model. I normally run the fans and do not turn them off. I recently reduced the speed of the fan and now it is making the same clunking noise and will not return to full speed. Living room - two fans in two years and now I have to purchase a third. ...

The fan is awesome but the light leaves a lot to be desired, the light is not very bright and dose not illuminate family room very well even in the highest setting. A shame as good as the fan is and spending $240.00 for a fan that it would come with a inadequate light.
