Installation was easy. It's just a few extra wires to splice compared to other fans. Once I had it all installed I quickly realized it just doesn't spin fast enough. Don't believe the CFM rating. The 55" fan this replaced easily moved more air. I was already disappointed when the instructions said to cap the red wire, which means I couldn't use my separate light switch. What a disappointment.

Bad install procedure, mediocre fan

I've installed a lot of Fanimation fans, but this one was a nightmare. Tiny screws have to be screwed into blind threads right atop vent holes to the sealed motor (and no screens to stop things from getting in there)... super frustrating. I recommend masking tape until after all screws are tightened

Beautful and smooth fan, great customer service

I have 2 houses and got these fans for both of them since I've never had one issues with them in 3 years they still look and run beautifully. They are very smooth with no sound and powerful! Not like the typical eyesore fans they are barely noticeable and elegant with a modern look. Also, recently my last purchase the glass cover was broken in the box and the installer didn't notice until after the fan was installed. One of the best purchases ever!

Not all fans are Created equal. The electronics and the workmanship of these fans are commendable. When you compare these fans to traditional ceiling fans you will notice the difference. 1. You do not need to be directly underneath the fan to feel the air circulating. 2. Even at the highest speeds this very quiet and does not vibrate. 3. I bought my fan in 2014. fanimation customer support is very reponsive.

Do not buy

I never write reviews but this fan is so horrible I have to. I bought this fan for my living room and master bedroom this winter. Now that it is getting warm, I NEED A FAN. This fan does not have good air movement AT ALL! This fan is only good for looks. Do not buy if you like cold air blowing from a fan on you at night. This will not provide what you need! I want to return both!! I need a real fan!

Less than Impressed

I have installed two of these in the last five years on a covered patio. They do not hold up well outside. the finish corrodes and the fan lasts around two years and quits. I'm an electrician with loads of experience with ceiling fans. I recommend you look at other brands and their reviews if you want to put one in an outdoor/covered patio. this fan may do well installed interior. Read the fine print on the "Lifetime Warranty"

Bought 2, both died

These fans are pieces of junk. I bought 2 of these fans, and had the same problems with both. 1. They don't blow much air, even on high, 2. The response to the remote sucks fror controlling the fan and light. Very frustrating, having to press the button so many times to get it to work, both died. One died in less than 5 months. The other died roght after the one year mark. The labor to install, uninstall, and ship the fans back for the warranty, cost more than the fans. Cost to remove, repla...

USED TO LOVE - Now Dislike

Bought Black Fan. Assembled and Tested. For the first time installing these fans I mean like 10-12 in our homes did not work. I am a Retired General Contractor that buys and flips homes. Can no longer recommend this fan. Also, this company needs to get with the program. I mean this is for Home Owners to install. 20 wire colored coated, give me a break. Should be PLUG AND PLAY...Company is saving money by NOT prewiring Fans with Plug assembly. When you 12 feet up in the air on a ladder good grief...

This is our 2nd Slinger 2 fan to install in a 2 week period, both fans stopped working after one week to the date

No pleased with the product...

Purchased this fan two weeks ago and after a lengthy install discovered that the fan does not operate as it should. I filled out the contact us form several times but there is no automated response to acknowledge receipt of the form so I have no way of knowing if it was properly submitted. After reading some of the negative reviews, I am now at the crossroads of determining if I replace the fan with the same model, or find something similar from another manufacturer.
