What Customers Are Saying
The product receives mixed reviews. Many customers find the logs easy to light, long-burning, and producing a clean burn. However, some customers report the logs are difficult to light, burn unevenly, produce excessive ash, and do not generate sufficient heat. A few also note an unpleasant odor when burning the logs. Overall, the product may be a suitable budget-friendly option for some, but may not meet the needs of all customers.

Enviro Log ( 6 ) 5 lb. Logs 6 Pack
Would RecommendThese are the only Logs I use,, the 6 / 5lb. Logs last a long time. Each LOG will keep you warm for hours. We never buy real wood at all.

Good wood alternative
Would RecommendGood alternative to real wood. Less smoky and no smoky smell. Did not get quite 3 hours per log but good product. A little expensive for long fire pit sessions.

About 20 minute to a log
Would Not RecommendFor us, one log didn't burn for 3 hours. We used the entire box in 1 night (about 4 hours), which was not expected or desirable.
Very Practical
Would RecommendLearned to build a fire out of leaves, twigs, etc. without paper or fossil fuels. This sure is a lot easier. Too bad they are so expensive!

Great Logs for Fireplace
Would RecommendWe bought these for my daughter who lives in an apartment. They did an excellent job of heating the living room. My husband followed the instructions on the package, but the flame did not last long, maybe 15 min. We headed back to the store to purchase the Strike-A-Fire sticks. We put 2 sticks on each end and that is what got the log to burn.
Weak flame
Would Not RecommendHad to light multiple times, very weak flame. Burned for hours, however, that is because it was barely burning.
Didn't burn evenly
Would Not RecommendHad to re-light the log, as one side stopped burning. Noticeably less heat than Duralog. Unfortunately I bought a case so I'll have to deal with these but won't buy them again.
Don't buy!!
Would Not RecommendI thought I would try these out since they said they burn longer as well as larger than the duralogs... I followed the directions on the package to use in our firepit, and they wouldn't stay lit! A waste of money!!
Love it
Would RecommendUsed one for the first time tonight. It took a little while for the flames to get large, but once it did it stayed lit for over 2 hours and smelled good.
Great flame, less smoke
Would RecommendWe've tried a number of brands and keep coming back to these. They burn a really long time, they are hot and they have significantly less smoke than the other brands. If you are using them in a firepit, the reduced smoke is a major bonus. If you are using them in a fireplace then it might not matter as much. They do leave more ash but generally it burns off with the next fire.
Would not recommend
Would Not RecommendThe product is chipped up waxed cardboard. I used it one time in the fire pit. It smokes a lot, produces a very small flame on each end of the block, and did not produce much heat. Also, it smoldered for a day and a half even after pouring water on it several times. If I could return the rest of the box I would. Terrible product.
Clean burning.
Would RecommendBurn just the log or add wood, makes a hot fire!

Hard to light - leave a mess
Would Not RecommendBought these when Lowe's was out of duraflame logs. They are super hard to light. It took a lot of extra kindling and poking apart to get them reliably going. You are left with a huge pile of papery ashes. I'll use up what we have on hand, but would not buy again.
Easy to light and stay burning
Would RecommendThese are good for may situations. For those who don’t know how to get a fire going with kindling or just for a log to throw some ambiance into a fireplace if you don’t have firewood. Though, they do smell like burning wax so be aware of that. It will stink up a room most likely if you use in a fireplace. As for a wood stove, I haven’t noticed any creosote build up. My wife’s uses them to start fires. It’s not that she can’t start one with kindling, she just doesn’t have patience to wait like I ...

not bad, not great
Would Not RecommendThis product is supposed to be good for the environment because it uses recycled items. Its basically shredded news paper type material and wax. So the problem I’m finding is that this product is hard to light. The aim of the game is to light the exterior on fire and the residual will melt the wax and light the paper on fire. This bad boy takes a good 15-30 minutes for the magic to start it creates a low flame. Not very good for heating up a whole living room. You will need more of these logs or...
