I waited until I had used our two-burner induction cooktop for a few months before writing this review. Here's my take. PROS: - SIZE It fits nicely in an 18-inch base cabinet. By tacking the cord up out of the way, we are even still able to use the top drawer in the cabinet. - INDUCTION Nothing else would do. - APPEARANCE Has a nice, sleek, modern look that's easy to keep clean and tidy. Terrible beyond noisy

This is awful. Absolutely awful. No thing can make this sound and be okay for your physical health. It took 3 purchases to get one that worked, and that sound tells me it doesn't work.

Smart Induction Cooker

This induction cooker is the best one I have used. I put it on the left side of the gas stove. The control of the two stoves is interoperable. Keep 1800w, it will not trip due to excessive current, the noise is small, and the lack of tail is timing control. Start I like to start every minute and set it to start every hour. Poorly implemented induction.

I have been using induction for years.I bought this to replace my old induction cooktop. I thought all induction worked the same and this would be similar to my old cooktop. I am very disappointed. This cycles between over-heating and under-heating to disastrous effect. My old induction cooktop heated up uniformly without this over-heat/too-cold cycle. If you are switching from a regular electric cooktop, this might be a slight improvement. If you are already familiar with good induction cooktop...

Excellent Induction cook top

When we bought this, we were unsure of the brand Empava since we hadn't heard of it before, but we are very happy with the quality of the cook top! The speed of boil time is so fast, and reacts quickly to temperature changes you set. Nice design, easy install and easy to clean and use.

It’s great for a small area

Very disappointed.

I purchased this surface unit from Lowes Hardware and after installation, I attempted something simple. I was frying bacon on level 5 and after approx. 8 minutes, the unit shut down due to high temp. sensor. I then started another burner and it lasted 5 minutes before it shut down also. I contacted Empava support and the best support they could give was perhaps there was not enough ventilation. Fast and Clean

We installed this into a 24" cabinet above the matching oven and are pleased with the product. Looks great and heats up fast. Cleans up nice after using.

The good and the bad

So good news is Empava customer service is amazing. The product is also well designed and functions well. The bad is that I first bought the cooktop and it was great for a week but then it stopped working. I contacted Empava and they are very responsive and immediately sent a replacement at no cost. They also followed up to make sure it was received and working. So far six months later it’s worked great.

Excellent cooktop

Looks great, easy to install. I love the flexibility with the size of pans I can use due to the flex zones. The power boost works very well - very quickly boils water in less than 2 minutes. Compared to my previous induction cooktop by a different brand, it might be slightly louder - maybe? - it cools down a bit longer - a fan runs a while after you turn it off. Cooktop

I was without a stove for 6 months. Every where I looked everyone had cooktops on back order . So went to loews . They had cooktops. Came across the empava cook top real nice. So bought the empava took it home unwrapped it and installed it. The cook top looks really nice and works well. It takes seconds to boil water. Thanks empava U

Love these cooktops!

Purchased these because we have very shallow countertops so we have two side by side and we'r very happy with them! Ordering another to use as a hot plate for parties because they have optional rubber feet and a standard three prong plug! Highly recommend!
