Cool Features but Missed the Mark

I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to give it enough time to test all of the features. What I love about the stove: The stove design is very nice. I love that it has 5 burners so I can cook multiple items at once. The child lock is great also to ensure that the stove is not turned on in error. Easy to control heat.

We just did a kitchenette for a in-law suite. This 2 burner induction cooktop was the perfect fit. It serves us well and is very efficient.

Beautiful

super stylish. True induction. Yes this is 1800W and 120V so don't expect it to heat up food and water like those 4500W units. But if like me for some reason you want to use a standard outlet ( better have a dedicated circuit to avoid tripping) this is the unit for you. While not as powerful as larger units, it is MUCH more powerful than gas and electric stoves

Great product for our small kitchen. Works great on our stainless steel pots and pans as well as on cast iron.

I love this cooktop in our RV

We had this professionally installed into our RV countertop and got rid of the propane gas stove with oven. I love the space it saves us along with the efficiency and safety. Amazing value for the price.

Great Cooktop!

We’ve had an Empava range for 5 years and like it so we decided to get the save brand of stove top. So far I love it. I like that there are no knobs. The control lock is handy, the rapid boil is very fast. We have purchased a second unit for our camper remodel.

I purchased this to replace a 5 year old whirlpool gold series that magically went kaput. So, I hit a snug. I ordered a fantastic oven, but didn't realize how it will fit in my newly renovated galley kitchen. Than I had a new countertop installed. Than I realized that there simply isn't enough space between the top of the new stove and the bottom of the countertop to fit my existing cook-top. oh no!!! I really like the induction stove top. It does not heat up the kitchen. Only the food gets hot. I have had to look at the book a couple of times. Went to store with my magnet to get a couple new pans. Looks really nice. This is my second stove top. The first one had multiple error messages while trying to use it. Exchanged it for this one. Doing fine so far. I did get extended warranty. Customer service was great at Empava.

works great - is portable

This is a nice little cooktop. It works as a built in or a portable. Thats the issue, there was nonthing in here saying it was portable. It has some padding so it rides a little higher than i would like when used as a bult it. It also states that you should not seal this to the counter top. As this is a slightly odd size for a 2 burner i can not now choose another brand.

Great cook top

I love this cook top more then my old electric one. Heats up very quickly cooks evenly and super easy to clean.

Very easy to wire and install, took me an hour to run the wire, cut the countertop, and make the electric connections.Looks great and I already cooked pasta and steaks on this cooktop! Excellent value!

Love my new Cooktop

We bought our induction cooktop without realizing that induction cooking meant that we had to get a new type of pans. We found a great deal at Kohl's for correct type of pans and we love cooking with our cooktop. Boils water in minutes. We have found we have to cook on lower heat temperatures for some things. We love how it cooks more consistently and evenly than other cooktops.

Still early but so far its great

I got this in place of a hotplate and gas stove. I bought new set pans that are specifically made for induction. This unit plugs right in to 120V! I only had for 3 weeks and used sparingly but so far all good. Boils water nearly twice as fast as gas. Amazing

Amazing Cooktop!

We had a flat cooktop for the past 12 years when it suddenly quit working. The old cooktop was no longer serviceable and we wanted to buy a replacement for it. We found this cooktop on-line at Lowe's. It had the simplest design. My 88 year old mother lives with us and has learned to use this. Now here is the amazing part, we thought this would cook like our old cooktop, but instead we had the new experience of an induction cooktop! Wow!
