Disappointed

The color of the washer and dryer do not match. The washer is a grey white and the dryer is a pure white. I had a second pair sent out, and they still didn't match. Also, the lint screen collects lint on the inside of the opening. I cannot remove the lint from it. I purchased this brand because the doors are reversible. However, the installer said that he would not reverse it because then the washer might leak. On a positive note, they are pretty and have a very large capacity for clothes.

Love the features

I love my Electrolux washer & dryer. I find it cleans the clothes a lot better than the standard top load washer and I love the steam option in both the washer and dryer.

My washer

I absolutely love this machine! I enjoy doing laundry again. I love having a separate spin cycle. I hated my last washer, it would not always spin the clothes down and it did not have a spin cycle - it only had a rinse and spin - what a pain.

Well-designed and well-made

I have been using this washer for 3 months, and love it. I have the washer and dryer set stacked. I love that I was able to reverse the door so that both washer and dryer open on the same side. The capacity is large, perfectly adequate for my family of 7, but has a "normal" footprint vs. some of the behemoths out there today. Controls are intuitive and the clothes come out clean. Very satisfied!

Not completely happy with this washer

You cannot put large items in this washer and get them clean. I have animals and wash dog beds all the time. Unfortunately you don't get enough water on them to get them clean. I always have to add water to what the washer automatically puts in. I would prefer one of the top loaders with a removable agitator for the larger items.

Smooth and quiet operation

We are very pleased with our new washer. The choices are amazing, the cleaning power phenomenal, and aside from a slightly sticking detergent drawer - flawless operation. We love the delay start that helps coordinate wash and dry time! We are an odd household of 4 over 60 representing two generations and 3 former households.

very easy to use!

We needed a new washer & dryer after the new house we moved into didn't have one. It had been many years since we bought new washers & dryers- and since I planned to keep these a long time, I wanted something that would last. So far, we haven't been disappointed. The features on this machine are outstanding. Water efficiency is awesome.

I bought this washing machine for the steam feature but I haven't actually used that too much so far. It does a great job, laundry is clean,smells fresh and it's all done very quietly. I am still getting used to the door however, not wanting to be forceful I sometimes have a problem getting it to stay closed. Almost like it doesn't quite latch completely. I will keep an eye on that though

Great Washer

I purchased this washer and matching dryer to replace two "ancient" appliances. What a difference this Electrolux washer makes! I like all the choices that it offers in washing cycles, water temps and spin cycles. It's easy to operate, saves a lot of water usage, detergent usage and time and still gets my clothes clean and spun dry--much much better than my old washer.

Best Washer Ever Owned!!!

This is the best washer I have ever owned. I was reluctant to try a front load but so glad I got this one! It washes cleaner, revived my stinky towels, removes stains, shorter wash times, super quiet & I love every single thing about it! My daughter in law has 4 kids under 6 & got one because I love mine so much. It runs nonstop at her house & she loves it!

Great Washer!

I got this as a replacement washer because I had been having problems with my other washer (different brand). The store was nice to allow me to chose any washer I wanted. I didn't even know Electrolux made a washer at the time. It is the best washer I have ever had! Clothes come out really clean and I don't even have to prespot which is amazing. I would get another Electrolux washer in a heart beat!

Love doing Laundry again!

I have been using for a month with great results. As advertised, quiet and love the steam in the touch-up cycle! The size is larger enough to do laundry only once a week!

Works well, but

We've had this washer for a few years, and then the strike piece for the door broke off when the door was shut. The door always gave us trouble closing - it would pop back open several times, needing to be almost slammed shut to stay shut. Needless to say after several years of this, the little strike (the part that sticks out of the door to insert into the main washer and latch closed) broke off. We were able to buy a new part from an appliance parts dealer for less than the manufacturer's pric...

4 months and doing great.

This was not my first choice for replacement when my 12 year old washer stopped running. Replacing it with another of the same make was not an option as the new model was a different dimension and did not fit. I am very pleased with the performance of this washer to date. I have not used all the options like steam and high sanitation.
