High Hopes, Low Results

I had really high hopes for this sensor - our bathroom tends to get very humid and, since there is a window in it, the condensation runs down the inside of the window in the winter. I was hopeful this would allow me to keep the fan running after a shower and have it automatically shutoff when the humidity dropped. Unfortunately, even with the sensor set to the lowest humidity threshold (which I believe is 45%), it still frequently shuts off even mid-shower resulting in an even more humid bathr...

Automatic fan keeps bathroom from being so damp

Great for getting the humidity out of the air after a shower. Before, the bath fan would get turned off after each person got out of the shower and left the room. This normally meant that it was still very humid in the room. This makes mold and rot more likely to occur. With this automatic humidity detecting fan, the fan will keep running until the humidity lowers to the desired level.

Should work well

Nice fix to fans being left on when no longer needed. Well made from a a brand I trust. I like that the leads are permanent and the manufacturer pre-strips the leads for easy installation wirenuts are included which is a plus as well

Works great! Super easy to install!

I’m super excited about having this switch. Installation was a breeze. It was no more difficult than installing a regular switch in the wall. After removing the old switch, I simply hooked up the four wires using the included wire nuts, and the switch works flawlessly. Works as promised

This product does as advertised. Has 3 humidity settings that trigger the fan on as well as a manual ob switch. Easy to wire and includes wire nuts. My one complaint is that the wires of the device are stranded aluminum...so antioxident is required

Humidity Switch for the Bathroom

This is an awesome answer to having to turn on the fan prior to a shower or worry about leaving it on. This device has 3 humidity settings, and an on/off switch. You see the setting and it will automatically start based on your setting or you can use the on/off switch just to clear the air.

Awesome Idea for Kids

We have 4 kids and even though I tell them a hundred times that they need to leave the fan on while they shower and for 30 minutes after, I walk into a steamy bathroom always! Our house was built in 1987 with odd wiring, so we had to wait until an electrician came out to install this for us. It works great and I need to buy 3 more for the other bathrooms. It's super nice that this will go off when the humidity in the bathroom is low.

Great fan switch!

This thing is great! I have had such a problem with my kids turning on the fan during showers then I go in there and the walls are wet from the humidity. With this it senses when the humidity level is high and turns on AUTOMATICALLY! Also it cuts off after lime 30 minutes on its on so no more realizing they didn't turn the fan off and it has been running all night.

Not a direct replacement for a single pole switch.

Surprised, Awesome item!

I really like this especially if you forget to turn your fan on when you get into the shower. It turns your fan on when the humidity gets to a preset humidity level which is adjustable and it actually turns the fan off. Built well. Great instructions. Really pleased!!

Good device if you have a neutral wire

It is a handy product as I suspect most people do not run a fan in their bthroom for as long as they should. With this control you get dual purpose, a light and fan control. It is a replacement for a single pole switch, however it does require a neutral wire which is not present in all houses, mine is from 1983 and doesn't have one which wasn't an obvious requirement in the beginning. Great solution for humid bathrooms

The humidity sensor was easy to install and the programming instructions were very direct. The wiring was labeled clearly as well. I tried all 3 settings. It turned itself on when it detected humidity and turned itself off. When manually turning it on, it failed to turn itself off only once. Otherwise it performed as described.

Push switch

So the install for this was fairly simple, and since where i installed it was only a one way switch it was even easier to do. Took me about 10 minutes and thats including running to the panel and turning the breaker off. But overall this product is impressive. It has a nice/clean look to it. Push on off button making it very convenient. Although I did expect it to kick on automatically with high humidity but it doesnt, just need to adjust the settings. Overall very pleased with it.

Great Idea

The Humidity Sensor and Fan Control looks great. I love the opportunity to keep a bath room dryer. Humidity is a problem here in the South. This looks like a great product.

Great concept. Works ok

The plastic bath fan humidity sensor switch is a great concept. It works well to turn on the fan when needed. Only downside is that it seems to run for a while afterwards but other than that it's a great product.

This humidity sensor is well made, nice color, and it arrived in good condition. It comes with the installation information and the wiring to connect it to your outlet. Recommend!

Works Perfectly as Advertised

This is a great way to eliminate moldy damp bathrooms. Before showering, I push the fan button and let it run. When I come back later, the fan has automatically turned off and the bathroom is dry. Installation was super easy. The provided instructions are well written and easy to follow with an understanding of basic electrical.

Nice Idea for humidity control

This switch is a really nice idea for humidity control in bath areas. It turn on and off automatically to control humidity to best level. Wires are well marked for easy installation. Wokking well in our shower area
