Nice feature with some delay.

Went with four out of five because of the time it took to go on after a hot shower but after it stayed on long enough to clear out the room and take fog away from large mirror.

Never received product

I never received this product and was told the Oder was cancelled but I keep getting emails saying to review the product. Not sure what else I can say other than I never received it. Thanks

Switch replacement with a perk

Want to love this product. Instructions seemed to be missing some wiring steps as far as claritiy. Hoping the install creates a reliable bathroom fan that runs to remove humidity when reaching a set level. So far so good andfits right in the switch setup.

15 -Amp 3-speed Touch Fan Control for bathrooms

Used in a bathroom. This will help prevent mold and moisture damage. I’d recommend it for anyone updating an older bathroom or trying to make things a bit more automatic at home.

Couldn’t use it

Mine was left in the rain by the delivery people and by the time I found it sadly it was soaked so I didn’t want to use it for water concerns. Looks like it may have been a nice quality item.

Sensor

Nice sensor with attractive housing. Works very well with miniimal issues. Would recommend for any area where moisture is a problem. Helps reduce chances for mold by sensing moisture.

Bad Design (Manual/Auto)

There is a big issue with this switch. If someone manually turns the fan on and off to remove odors from the bathroom, it will no longer work in the automatic humidity mode. The only way to set it back to auto is to turn the fan on for 20 minutes and let it turn off automatically. A waste of electricity to set it back to auto! Also, if it turns on automatically for humidity, don't touch the switch to turn it off! Doing this will set it back to manual again. Very poor design in my opinion.

Works good for what it is

This switch has a nice feature of turning on automatically for high humidity with 3 different humidity level settings. Shuts off after 20 minutes. I thought if I turned it on manually it would still shut off in 20 minutes but it did not. Directions need more in it as to operation.

Should have in every bathroom!

Easy install automatically turns on when the text humidity. If you press the button, it will run for 20 minutes, then turn off automatically.

Fan on timer.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I replaced a fan switch in a double switch box. Overall had no issues with the installation. Original wiring had main power feed connected to the fan switch and jumpered to light switch. I have prior electrical experience so was easy to correct wiring for the new switch. Like the timer function as fan shuts off instead of running for days when kids foget to shut it off.

Well made auto switch

This auto switch was well pqckaged and easy to install. Itbhas four wires which easily replace almost any existing switch. The switch is well made qnd feels solid. I expect it to last a long time.

This is the second humidity detection switch I have installed. The first one was in my California winter home. It is a really great switch so I have purchased another one and installed it in the master bathroom of my Missouri home. Great for kids showers

The humidity sensor and fan control by Eaton is easy to install and to use. It’s really helpful for when kids take showers - the fan kicks on and off all by itself - helpful since kids don’t usually have humidity on their radar. We like that there’s three humidity settings, from 45% to 80% so you can customize when you want the fan to turn on and off. There’s also an option to turn it on and off for if your fan needs aren’t humidity related or you need ventilation straight away.

Great way to keep humidity down, and save money

Easy to install and works great. Senses the humidity and comes on without any interaction and similarly cuts off automatically. We put it in a bathroom for helping with humidity. Love the fact it comes on even when we forget to turn it on and similarly shuts off, eliminating worry that you forgot to turn it off and left it on all day. The auto off also helps save money by not venting all day because it was left on by accident.

Works above speciations

Was very interested in this product. I actually hooked it up with our light as well and works amazingly. Only complaint from kids is light will turn off on them after 20 min sitting on toliet. It gets an extra star because of this.

Every bathroom should have one

I've added a lot of these to homes throughout the year and it should be standard construction. This particular timer will come on at 3 preset humidity levels and turn off automatically (or has a manual button to use it). Great for kids who forget to hit the one button after their bath/shower. You will need a red wire to use this timer and enough room in the box to fit it. The button light isn't extremely bright as other I've put in.

Works okay

Works most of the time but not not convinced it’s effective. I find it turns off fan before the humidity level seems to wear off. I have an older house and this could be a function of my room rather than the unit itself… and my fan is an older model so I’ll hold off on a real verdict until I replace the entire unit. For now however, it does as expected and shuts off when the sensors must feel levels are adequate.
