DEEBOT Lover, except this cleaner. Very disappoint

This was my 3rd DEEBOT. I was looking forward to the mapping feature. However, this is the worst cleaner I’ve had. It mapped fine, however, it seems to get lost. If I am not home when it cleans, I come home to find it in the middle of the floor and the battery dead. I watch it when I am home and it gets lost in different places. I have new flooring, nothing in the floor and it just sits in place an either spins or it seems to be stuck. I am very disappointed. I have COPD and run this on auto or ...

Poor battery life, tiny dust storage, terrible app

This thing can't quite clean the main floor of our modest house. Either the dust bin gets full, the mouth gets choked (and the dust bin stays empty), or the battery runs out. Or sometimes, it just does two rooms and then decides it's done. After 2.5 months, the front brush has developed a rattling/humming sound that's pretty terrible.

Some disappointment!

I’m concerned that the battery runs down quickly and Deebot is unable to return to the base. I’m hoping there’s a fix because I hate to return it. And, I bought two!

Great Time Saver

Its so clean under my bed!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd robot vacuum I've bought - I returned the last one but am in LOVE with this new one - fits under the couches, does carpet and hard floors and even tells you (in her voice) if something needs attending to - "I am suspended" on a rug that time - "Im returning to the charger". The best part is my floors are always clean - picks up a ton of dog hair and my hair too. Cant wait for the version that does stairs!

Cleans fairly well but has some problems

Generally, I am satisfied. Seems to clean fairly well, and is reasonably quiet about it. Unfortunately, it has some problems. Initial connection to the network and the Android app was a nightmare. Pet hair gets caught in the intake to the dust bin; I have to vacuum the vacuum every time I use it to clear the hair out. Vacuums inefficiently. I have north-south oriented rooms, but it insists on an east-west pattern, so it makes multiple 2-3 foot runs instead of long ones. It leaves areas and...

tuff time with this specific model

this is my 2nd deboot the first model i bought is M80 pro still going good after 2nd half years. deboot 900/901 is the worst model and expensive, support has not been great so far, we reset the machine twice with support person on call and it dies right after a day or two. either the piece i have should be defective or the model should be defective. atleast give me another M80 which is cheaper and effective.

Great vacuum; initial mapping trouble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vacuum overall seems great, especially for the price point. The initial process and mapping was frustrating. Despite multiple attempts, it kept restarting and redoing the initial map process... After reaching out to customer service, I finally had to map one room at a time and finally got it to map most of the house.

Great features but...

This is a great robo vacuum but the lack of features in the app is what made me knock-off a star. Unlike its predecessor(s), the app for the 907 series doesn't let you navigate the robot to a specific area and spot clean. It didn't map my entire home (first floor) and that's why I would want the spot clean feature enabled.

Amazing Vacuum!!

I updated to the latest firmware and let it complete a full cleaning cycle and it works better than I expected. The app is easy to use and has great features like virtual boundaries to block out areas you want to avoid. I had the Deebot N79S and upgraded to this one and I am very glad I did. I will be getting a another one for my second floor and can highly recommend this vacu...

Good but limited

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like it, but MAYBE a more expensive one is worth it because you'll be able to have more options when selecting scheduled cleanings. This had a very simple selection - this only allows for day selection for a whole house clean. I need certain areas cleaned more frequently than others. Also have had to remap several times in the two months I've had it. Bothersome.

Broken after 1 month

We used this lightly, maybe once per week. We cleaned it etc. At first it worked well, but now it just spins in circles and says “please help me out”. It isn’t stuck on anything it’s just spinning in circles. Also the app never worked for us despite many attempts.

Overall good value

I will say you have to be careful with certain higher rugs or chairs/stools that the bot can’t quite fit through. I’ve had issues where it gets stuck when not at home either between chair legs or on a rug. I’ve also had issues with the virtual boundary not working but all and all it’s a good purchase and nice to have vacuuming done while you’re not at home!

It's more affortable but more difficult to use

I had some initial problems in getting this set up, some of which were not completely unexpected. It really doesn't work well on Wi-Fi networks that use Smart Connect (adaptive 2.4 GHz/5 GHz). Does the nice clean job, Improvements can be made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product worked as expected and cleaned my wood floor nicely. here are some improvements should be made. Charging indication or voice notification, I saw the cleaner return back to the charging station, but not perfect position, cleaner no longer moved, but I have no way to know if charging started or not. also battery life only run for about an hour, it should be longer.

The map is creates of my home is invaluable with the virtual boundaries and the daily schedule allows us the flexibility we need to send Deebot to work on the daily without any hassle!

Smarter than I thought

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The deebot 900 is very high and unable to get under furniture. The deebot has some connectivity issues that sometimes erase the schematic you design for your living space causing you to start all over again. Works on pet hair when you remove the roller attachment. Not very good at picking up dirt along the wall as it is round and doesn’t get along wall very well.
