Would Not RecommendThe gas hose purchased was not flared correctly. When hooked up to the hot water heater. A leak was not noticed for 24 hours as it was small but built up in the storage room when the new hot water heater was being installed. Since everything else in the kit was installed at this time, there was no option to return and if so, I would have had to take everything else back out. Would RecommendI had to purchase this with my water heater to keep the warranty, fine, but I wish it would have let me choose the size. The package comes with 18" hoses and my previous install I used 12", so now I have to modify my existing plumbing to make these work.

Teflon Tape eschew.
The PTFE tape is white, the inspector wants to see yellow. (technically they both work, white requires more wrapping because it is thinner.) the water connections are gasket sealed and don't need PTFE tape.
