Ice maker waterline

When I first received it, I was a little apprehensive, but after installing it and using it, I realize that this waterline is perfect. It works fine. There are no leaks, handles pressure well, very professional looking it will hold up for the task and it’s much better than your normal contractor. grade commercial line. I’m very impressed.!!!’

Stainless for the win

As a homeowner, I’ve experienced two water line issues in my past. One was chewed through by mice. The other burst. Since then, I’ve used braided stainless and never looked back. Standard fittings, easy to install. They just work.

Probably a great product- wouldn’t work for me

I think this is probably an excellent product, and one that I would have purchased if I had prepped for the “flood defender” part of the line. I really like the thought of the auto shut off, but it stuck out too far from the wall for me to push the fridge back in to its original position before replacement. If the box for the ice maker shut off is set on an adjacent wall, or the fridge had a recess or relief where the line installs, the line would work perfect. Also- a 10’ length may be somew...

119", burst valve inop at low flow

Burst protection does not work with pin hole water valve. (See photo) Assuming the flow rate is to low. Good: Seems durable. Fittings were easy to tread on. Rubber gasket sealed with no leaks, hand tighten and another 1/2 turn did the trick. Note: The burst valve is larger than the hose The valve is directional (see flow arrow). Length 119" fitting to fitting. Install tip: I used my old hose to pull my new hose through my cabinets.

Wow! Impressive steel hose. It’s a shame it’s hidden behind the fridge. Easy to install. Take away the worries of a bursting water pipe from an increase in city water pressure.

Nice product but double check the safety valve is

Double check that the safety valve is tighened prior to installation. The check valve to prevent flooding works well. I tested this into a bucket before hooking up the fridge. Easy installation, good quality.

Flood defender universal ice maker connection

Flood proof fridge icemaker hose - GREAT Product!

I ordered an icemaker hose that has an automatic shot off function to prevent flooding. It was easy to install and seems to be doing as advertised. I attached it to the flow valve and to the water filter with a pair of plyers and that was all that was needed. Super easy to install, easy to use and good length.

Long cord for installation purposes. I have an ice maker that is about 3 feet from my water connections and sink and this did the job. Easy installation instructions.

Great knowing there is protection with the hose. Gives a peace of mind that there is a back up. Material is great durable quality and has enough length to work with. Easy to install with minimal problems.

I used it to replace the old water line on my fridge. It is easy to install. You will only need a wrench for replacement. Only takes a few mins. to install.

Easy install

I had the original vinyl connector. It was working fine but was getting a weird taste. This connector came well packaged with detailed instructions (even though it's pretty straight forward). Installation took approximately 5 mins. I let the water run for about 10 mins and gave it a try and the taste was fine. Overall, very happy with the product.

Good sturdy product

Good quality sturdy yet flexible line. The metal braiding is nice and tight. The fittings are secure. There is no leakage when fastening them on. The fittings are all metal which is nice. The packaging is sturdy and it fits securely in there as a small coil. I would recommend this product for security from leakage.

Ice Maker Line

Yeah This ice maker line is great and super easy to install. I had a brand new install for a new fridge and this went on and worked amazing. I recommend this to anyone that wants a great looking and durable line for their fridge and with leak protection it makes it even better.

Amazing Product Excellent for Peace of Mind

I installed this ice maker hose in less than 5 minutes. The 10 ft length allows for me to roll out the fridge pretty much as far as i could ever need. Works great so far with peace of mind at ease!

I will never again use a pierce/saddle valve for my frig hook-ups. I added an under sink 1/4" water line valve on the cold water supply under the sink. Used this Eastman 1/4" 10' water supply line through the floor, across under the kitchen to the frig and punched up into the wall behind the frig, where I hooked it to a shut-off in a Eastman wall outlet (with hammer arrestor).
