Would RecommendWe love the different accessories and the ease of use. Fantastic not having to be tied to a power cord. The wall mount bracket and charging is an excellent touch as well. So far we are loving it. We have a Labrador retriever and it is picking up hair we didn't even know was there. Great job, Dyson.

Dyson V8 Absolute
Would RecommendWe have a cat and three dogs who all shed. The house is all smooth floors and hair gets everywhere. The Dyson V8 picks up the hair and the dried dirt they drag in. Works very well. Great way to clean air ducts, too!

Takes a hit and keeps on ticking
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've beaten this vacuum up having a dog and different rugs. It DID eventually stop working because I abused it but Dyson sent me the part under warranty and now it's back to being strong again. Will never buy another brand.

Should have switched sooner
Would RecommendI am a 70+ user and have only used kirby's. I look for reasons to use my new dyson. So much eaiser on my shoulder. The power is awesome!

Would RecommendBought my V8 about a month ago and have been very happy with it. With my old vacuum cleaner it was difficult vacuuming, I had to worry about the cord and the unit was very heavy and cumbersome so I didn't vacuum as often as I should;d. My Dyson being light and cordless and agile makes it so easy that I use it daily and my apartment has never been cleaner.

Great Vacuum, Horrible battery life!
Would RecommendWe have had Dyson‘s for 20 years - very happy with the suction power but the battery life is absolutely horrible. The fact you can only get seven minutes on maximum suction means you have to have a second vacuum or do your cleaning on different days.. can’t clean your house completely in one day because you’ll be constantly recharging the vacuum. The performance is great- but the battery is horrible.

Would RecommendLove the weight and versatility of this powerful vac. I had the corded model for years that I used with our Labrador that shedded terribly. This one is a great upgrade. Saves my back and it’s readily accessible. No more stepping over cords!!!!

It Sucks!
Would RecommendIt Sucks up everything! We have dogs, 10 Bouvier des Flandres, and we live in the woods. The dirt, the dust; and those pine needles! Oh, and the dust bunnies! This gets them ALL! Sure I empty it a lot, but I am amazed at jow much more it gets than my canister vacuum with a bag. It is light, so light I can get dust from higher places, like cabinets and refrigerator. I took a chance that this may have been my best vacuum, it was worth the gamble. LOVE IT!!

Keeps getting clogged
Would Not RecommendI love the majority of my Dyson products but this product is disappointing. The opening into the canister is too small and constantly gets clogged with dirt and pet hair. When this happens, the vacuum does not suck anymore and starts pulsating. The only way to get it unclogged is to open the canister and use your hand to remove the blockage.

Would RecommendI always thought Dysons were overpriced and that surely other vacuums work just as well so I made the mistake of buying a Chinese knock-off. It worked decently the first time but afterwards kept getting clogged so I bit the bullet and bought a Dyson. It cleans all the things! Never clogs and is easy to dump. It almost makes cleaning fun. Everything I expected and more
Would RecommendIt’s hard to get excited about a vacuum but this one really is worse excitement. I love that it is so efficient and so lightweight. Are used to have a Dustbuster in my utility room that made a lot of noise and A regular vacuum cleaner is it in places like stairs. I’ve gotten rid of both and now I have a vacuum cleaner that is easy to transform to a handheld or a regular vacuum, whatever I need.
