Excellent piece of equipment, but...

This unite excels in almost every category. I definitely got what I wanted out of a vacuum. I did however underestimate my hands ability to tolerate the weight as well as the ergonomics. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and find the weight to be an issue after five or ten minutes of use. Switching hand helps. A design that facilitates two handed operation would be better. Controls cat hair

I have two cats and in a week seem to vacuum up their weight in cat hair. This vacuum works great. It's powerful, has enough space to hold all the cat hair and the battery power to finish every job.

Great Cordless Vacuum

I am very pleased I made the decision to buy the V11 Outsize vacuum. The suction strength is as advertised and I am happy with its cleaning abilities. I love the portability and the fact that I don't have to chase the cord around. I am vacuuming more frequently and doing more small spot cleanings simply because I do not have to worry about unwinding and winding a cord. I would recommend this vacuum to friends albeit the high price.

Very good, but...

When it works, the v11 outsize is great. However, we are in our 3rd power head cleaner. Also, your hand can get tired having to hold the trigger switch in on position continually. It also would be nice t be able to stand it up when pausing vacuuming. Suction is great, and other features are outstanding.

It sucks :)!

Only been a month or so since purchase but so far, it's performing as advertised. The main machine and the accompanying attachments were smartly designed, and even their placement so every thing goes together was well thought out. Still think it's a little pricy but we'll see if it lives to the hype of the brand

Great suction but ???

After having the V11 outsize for a few months I’m starting to notice the the plastic parts use in connections are looser at the connections and the smaller plastic clips are coming apart where the canister is when taking it apart evertime I empty the dirt, after using after a couple of months I have had to take it to the service department once and have already had to order a hole new canister , other than that everything else I like , just wish that engineering had built it stronger to match th...

Great vacuum and convenient!

I used this vacuum at my sister’s house when we were visiting. We came home and immediately purchased one. It auto adjusts to the surface you are vacuuming and it is so convenient to not move a plug four times to vacuum the whole house. The battery lasts long enough to do the entire house and it picks up considerably more stuff from the carpet than our other bagless vacuum.

Convinced!

I want pretty skeptical of the battery life and price point on the V11 Outsize, but I can do my entire 3,200 sq ft house on a single charge (mix of rugs and bare floors) with a little battery life to spare. Suction is excellent (I have pets in the house) and the ease of use is unparalleled. I’m very pleased with the purchase. I’d definitely recommend the V11 Outsize.

Great vacuum but heavy

We bought the large one because I wanted to clean everything in one sweep and the dual battery seemed the answer. Take into account that I am 5 foot tall and you will see how it’s not leveraged fir my height. Should have bought the lighter model. But as a vacuum it does an excellent job. I have other days on products and they can’t be best.

I am not sure what I was expecting out of a cordless but I don’t think I ever want to try any other cordless products; this one has blown us away so much that it has replaced our main upright. We haven’t pulled that out of the closet since; we’ve just been using the Dyson V11 Outsize. We have a two story home and there isn’t any problem this hasn’t been able to solve (with the exception of wet messes; we don’t use it for that). I was intending to get one of these just for the convenience but now...

Works great and is quiet!!

This is my 4th Dyson vacuum going back to the early 2000’s. This is the most versatile and most powerful of any of the others. We love to vacuum now!!

That's its cordless

We got a v11 and haven't had it too long and now were having problem when using it the motor powers down when vacuuming carpet then powers back up and back down and back up and I notice there is a lot of play where it connects to other connecting parts to me there is a lot of plastic they should have used metal where each part connects because I notice when you put the brush head on the stand it was tight and hard to disconnect and now it is very easy and I think the plastic is wearing down ...

The Beast

I have a V6 that I've used exclusively for 4 years and also own a husky, so cleaning up dog hair is a daily routine. The V11 Outsize really shines in power, quietness, and capacity. I can vacuum the house multiple times and not have to empty the bin. And where the V6 you had to hover it over the trashcan, the V11 is more of a point & shoot into the trash, therefore much cleaner and less dust flying around. This is my first time owning or using a Dyson and I am blown away. I had my heart set on having a cordless vacuum but my home has 2000sf of carpet and lots of pet hair. The things cordless vacuums aren’t made for. I first bought a Shark cordless and returned it the very next day as it didn’t pick up anything. Impressive

We have been Oreck owners for 20 years. My wife swears by them. I bought the Dyson thinking it would be a “quick”sweeper but the Oreck would still be the primary. Truth be told, we have not turned on the Oreck since the Dyson arrived 2 months ago. We are so impressed with the suction and power. It is so convenience and easy to use- no more bags.

I am in love with this amazing vacuum!! I have Ragdoll cats, so I am HARD on a vacuum! I use this amazing vacc every day & I will never be without it. One of the best buys I've ever done!

Worth every penny, and get the Dok

I upgraded to this model and it is the best. Great features like the pop-off battery, the large bin, the vacuum automatically adjusts on different surfaces. The Dok makes this vacuum convenient to use and it’s always charged the good to go.

Terrific Upgrade

After a few years with another Dyson model some wear and tear had me looking for another vacuum. After a friend bought a v11 and raved about the device, I skeptically bought one. I was not disappointed and my wife couldn't be happier (as happy as one gets over a vacuum).

Love this Dyson!

The Dyson VII Outsize is the best vac I've ever used! It's very light weight and transitions from hardwood to tile to carpeted floors so easily. It's a quality machine!
