Great machine, especially when you have pets!

Replaced an old Dyson V6–sorry I didn’t do it sooner.

We upgrade to this vacuum from an older generation Dyson handheld. There is vast improvements between the two. This one is quieter, cleans better, locking/unlocking attachments are easy one-touch affair. Overall love the vacuum

Worth the money!

I was skeptical but the V11 Outsize is worth the price. My sheepdog collie sheds so daily vacuuming is required. The V11 Outsize picks up all the fur, dust, stuffed animal debris easily. The power is amazing. Maneuverability is excellent. Having no cord is fabulous. Battery life is great. Ability to use as a handheld is excellent. I never expected so much power from a cordless vac! No regrets!

Better than I was expecting

I am impressed so far. I like all of the attachments and the easy of emptying. So far, so good.

Best in class

I have to admit, I was hesitant to invest this amount of money on a vacuum cleaner, and I'm happy I did. No cords. Easy to change attachments. I am not disappointed.

No Cord - Yeah!!

Love this vacuum cleaner. The best part is no cord. I was concerned about the power, since it runs on battery. So far it's one of the best vacuum cleaners I've ever had.

Need skinny fingers to operate switch pain free.

They changed the trigger to a curved design and unless you have skinny bones fingers it hurts your finger. When I depress the switch on this one my finger hits the bottom flat part below the switch. Our regular V11 has a flat switch that is recessed so your finger lays on the flat part as you operate the vacuum. This a no go for me. I like all the other features, but in my opinion they ruined a good vacuum with the switch change. Returning it.

Biggest piece of junk

Bought worked great, started making noise manual says clean around ends or brush did that have been fighting with the brush ever since. Should have gotten my money back. If I could give this half star I would

Needs bare floor tool

Good machine. Powerful. Handy. Not so good on bare floors. The head is too big to fit everywhere. I have my favorite tool from my old dyson but of course they changed the clip so can't use it. Or just an adapter so I can use my old tools would work too. Here's a photo of my old hard floor tool.

Tremendous stick vacuum. 6 month review.

I still have the basic dyson v6 vacuum two level suction. The high suction quit long ago but the low still works. I decided based on the problems endured with the V6 I’d try another brand. I bought a Bissel stick vac but it’s maneuverability is terrible so after two uses I gave it to a friend. It sounds weird to say that I had to have another Dyson considering the problems with my first Dyson but that’s how I felt. Really a 10 Star

I bought this several weeks ago. WOW !! Convenient. I just pick it up and away I go. Small touch ups are a dream. No cord , no pulling or yanking the thing around. The suction is unbelievable and I like the ability to increase or decrease the suction. Emptying the canister is a snap. I’m 68 and tired of all the work involved in a typical sweeper. Cleans great but battery runs down quickly

I’ve had this vacuum for about 2 months now. The pros are that it’s cordless which I really love and has a lot of power. I have no complaints about how well it cleans. It picks up dog hair and lint with one pass. It maintains it’s suction throughout, even when the battery is getting low. The filters are easy to clean and maintain. Great Machine, Just Some Minor Quibbles

Overall I've been very pleased with the Dyson V11 Outsize. It's powerful and seems to filter the air it puts back out very well (no dusty smell when vacuuming). I like that the large head roller bar, while it can still get string and long hair wrapped around it, is probably the easiest to pull them off I've ever encountered. My other review , full of facts and opinions about my v11 not working and under warranty and over a month later I still don’t have resolution. Well, I got a not back that said thanks for the review, but we are not going to allow it on our post. That is one way to have good reviews...... don’t allow the bad ones on your post. Works so well on ALL surfaces!!

THis is my 4 Dyson vacuum. All of my Dyson have been great. I have 2 large Dyson's & I had a V7. All of these - I have had 4 several years (like 6-10) and I have always been impressed with them, but this V11 is the BEST!! It is as good on carpet as my large Pet Hair Dyson! The battery LAST so so long and when it does run out - no problem Dyson put 2 batteries with this bad boy. I love this vacuum!
