Needed to replace out older Dyson canister that was kinda worn out. The head stopped working altogether so decided it was time. My wife wanted to try the Shark, but as a tech guy I talked to her about trying another Dyson. This vacuum has PROS ad CONS. The PROS are: Excellent suction, excellent battery life with a spare battery if needed to finish your chores, quieter than my V10 Animal when running, easy to empty with a push of the red lever. I love the way the Outsize Red cleans hardwood, tile and carpet, without a pause or taking a breath. The appliance went together quickly and intuitively, and the extra attachments are appreciated. I bought my vacuum a month ago. I have used every attachment on it, every mode possible. Using it for a month now. It has very good suction, is easy to maneuver around and under most furniture. Battery lasts plenty long on the middle power. It is very top heavy and is not light, so the weight is mostly on your wrist. You have to hold the button the whole time it is on - which I knew about, but is more annoying than I expected. I really choked up at the price, but now I would not trade this vacuum for anything. It is worth every penny. NO cords! TWO long lasting batteries for switching if needed. Great Vacuum!

My friend told me I HAD to get this vacuum and he was right! After owning three Dyson plug-ins, I'm a Dyson stick-vac convert - the V11 Outsize is so easy to use and works great - even along the baseboards. I love how it can get under furniture, too. Works wonderfully on my tile, carpets and LVF flooring. This model came with loads of extras and a second battery, but I can vacuum most of my 3000 sq. ft. home using just one battery.

Just Amazing!

We have a fairly large 2 story house and 3 German Shepherds, this vacuum is a game changer! I am constantly vacuuming and my previous brand and model was heavy and I was constantly plugging and unplugging as I moved around the house. Adequate. Expensive.

Frankly my smaller, previous Dyson did a much better job on wood floors. So why am I keeping this? I’m too lazy to send it back and the battery life is much better. Was it worth the extra money? Not at all. Dyson, if you read this, please include some sort of trigger lock so that we don’t have to hold the trigger down constantly. In the grip is too small for large hands. Far superior to anything I have ever used!

Where has this been all my life?? The first time I used it, I had to empty the bin four times before I was halfway done! I have 2 cats and it picked up more hair than they have on them. When my central vac rug attachment broke down for the 4th time, I got fed up and bought this. Super light weight, battery and attachment design are pure genius.

Great improvement from the V7

This vacuum is a beast. I originally owned an older fusion with a cord. It was the best vacuum for 10 years. It finally quit on me so i traded it for the v7 (i think) it was not the same. The auction was weak, the battery was weak. I hated it. But, I spent a lot of money on it and it did a job of sorts. Fast forward, I took a leap of faith, based on reviews and upgraded.
