Loving this vacuum. With a dog that sheds tons, the laser was quite the eye opener. We have light tile and I had no idea how dirty the floors were. It’s much easier to pull this out and do a quick pass on the daily.

Would Not RecommendThis Gen5outsize appears to have less suction than my V15. I now understand why Dyson does not offer a wider laser fluffy cleaner head. I don’t mind the added weight, two batteries, larger bin and the on/off trigger, which are better on the outsize than the V15’s finger trigger. Be careful on the description saying the cleaner head is 25% wider, which does not apply to the laser fluffy cleaner head. Both models are the same width. Noise is not an issue. Average vacuum, doesn’t justify the cost
Would Not RecommendIt’s very quiet and easy to handle. It lights the area very well and it’s long enough to accommodate my height. The battery life is average to short. The suction is average to poor on a hardwood floor, particularly when trying to pick up small items like sand or cat litter. It requires the deeper suction selection, which depletes the battery more quickly. It does not pick up short cat hair well.
