Not worth the money

Would RecommendI do recommend getting a wet vacuum for people that are interested. It makes cleaning very easy if you deal with a lot of wet and dry messes. If your floor needs to be really cleaned, like power washed, then this is not for you. I would say it’s more for daily messes. Would Not RecommendI have a hate/love relationship with the G1. Like others, I can’t fathom why Dyson didn’t include the inadequate instruction manual with the machine. The inadequacy of the manual contributes to my hate. Let me talk about love. I do love how the machine cleans my wood floors leaving minimal water on them. They dry quickly. I have used my wash G1 four time in a couple weeks. It does the best job of the several hard surface cleaners I have owned. I have dogs. It seems to pick up almost all of the dog hair without sweeping before using. That said, it is a messy job cleaning it out of the machine when done. I don’t care for the wordless video instructions . Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for almost 2 weeks and have tried on different surfaces. 3 floors of my house have different surface - Hardwood, Vinyl and Laminate and I tried on all. Pros - wireless, self-cleaning, battery is in the frame so not heavy on hand like other cordless vacuum cleaners. Cons - pricy, little improvement is needed for water dispenser, it has some leak issues if not placed properly.

Would RecommendI love how easy it is to use but I am very disappointed in the amount of cleaning/work involved in putting it away. I called about the fact that the debris tray is ALWAYS wet, regardless of the amount of water used. So it has to be washed and dried each time I change the water, in addition to cleaning before putting it away AND after the self-cleaning. Also, since first use, it no longer indicates when the water level is running low. Maybe I got a defective unit?

Would RecommendI got it for mopping up spills, I use it for vacuuming + mopping my kitchen and dining room every other day. Pros: - My floors have never been cleaner. Saves time vs. vacuuming + swiffer or mop and pail and picks up way more dirt. - Easy to operate and clean - just don't add too much soap! Cons: - Self cleaning mode works, but not 100%. Better Consumer Education on Using/Maintaining
I bought the WASH-G1 last month and like it so far. Easy to use but Dyson needs better consumer education or instructions for use. My red debris tray/gray wheeled panel does not release or come out easy as the VIDEOS suggest and there is no close-up view to see how to maneuver it/press a magic button, etc to get it out for cleaning.
