I have a Dyson V 11 which I am very very happy with. I bought the G1 to use on my hardwood floors. Taking it out of the box, it wouldn’t start. I think it was a battery or charging issue. But the construction of the unit and the way it has to be cleaned dissuaded me from trying to keep it and I returned the whole unit. It wasn’t put together as solidly as my V 11. I really would dissuade anyone from buying it.

Smiling at 63--Best Item I've Purchased in Years!

In 63 years of life experience, I've purchased a lot of mops ... cleaned a lot of floors. The Dyson Wash G1 is the best product I've purchased in years...simplified my life, reduced my mopping time, and my cleaning results are superior (efficiency & effectiveness). Should I have purchased earlier, yes. Would I buy again, absolutely.

Great machine, not surprising, it’s a Dyson.

Overall, very happy with the machine. Love the edge cleaning my other machine did not. My only suggestion is better directions. I’m a tech-y guy and still struggled to get it operational and to get it into self-cleaning mode.

Do not buy

The suction is very weak. I would definitely not call this a wet dry cleaner. I would call a wet cleaner. You need to vacuum before you use this. If you accidentally slide it sideways when pulling it backwards or forwards, the tray slides out making a mess. We returned ours not happy at all. Worst Dyson product I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned many Dyson products and love them all except for this one.

Game Changer for cleaning hardwood floors!

I love my new Dyson Wash, I have hardwood floors across my entire first floor and it is pleasurable to clean them now. There are a couple of learning curves with using the machine, i.e., you need to go with the wood grain or else it leaves a mark. New purchase

I was so excited when i received the box come to find out the cleaning solution recommended for this model did not come with it nor is it even available to purchase yet? I’m confused and would not have bought if I knew this before hand.

Fair Performance

Cleans fairly well, but complicated cleaning process afterwards. Tends to randomly leave quarter sized drops of water on the cleaned floor that are not from the containers.

Cleans well

I've been using the product for about 3 weeks now. The machine cleans well, but is a little difficult to clean and maintain. The clips for the tanks and the cleaning unit don't seem to be easy to engage making re-assembly after cleaning the unit rather difficult.

You better get you one of these

I love my new mop! Most of my house is LVP and it’s much easier to use this with no refills vs using a mop

Terrific cleaner!!

I researched cleaning appliances for specific use with LVP flooring. I have used this once across, and am very happy with the results. In full disclosure, I used a cleaning solution other than the Dyson brand, and I noticed more foaming that was not get pulled into the dirty water reservoir. Best floor cleaner ever

Been a fan of Dyson products and have been waiting for them to come out with a hard floor cleaner and this one does not disappoint. I had washed our floors the day prior to getting the G1 Wash and the water that it picked up was black. The machine also cleans itself which is a huge plus. Only wish they had cleaning products for hard wood floor or tile it cleans very well but in the case of hardwood you need to add something that can give it a lasting shine. Best in the market for Hardwood Floorings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After few uses I got used to this and overall its a good design. I have hardwood flooring on my main level, laminate in my basement and vinyl on my top floor and have tried in all of them. only thing is when I carry from floor to floor I need make sure that its dry.

Useful and Durable

I own multiple Dyson products, and this is my first review. They all are very useful and durable. This WashG1 is definitely aligns with my expectations in terms of cleaning my wood floor very well, requiring minimal maintenance by cleaning itself. I only have it for a month now and will share another update after one year. All Dyson products are expensive for sure as I think they invest in innovations heavily and so far, it's worth every penny I spent.

Worth the money!!

I bought mine about a month ago. This thing cleans great!! It is not too heavy either.

Makes my clanging so much easier and the machine is much lighter than my old machine
