Great Generator with multiple fuel

I like having the option of 3 fuel sources. Living in a hurricane zone presents many challenges after a storm. Having this generator thankfully keeps those options available.

Max Power

Doing an excellent job. Putting out the power we need. Would be cool to come with outdoor protection on certain generators or cool addition for first responders and military. this was expensive when it first came out, (when I got it). also pre-fab connections would be nice,

We have had this unit for a couple of years now. Other than cranking it up occasionally we have not had a need to use it but are so glad we have it.

Well made quality product

Power outages, due to high wind, are very common here in Alaska in the wintertime. Combine that with the darkness and below zero temperatures, and it is very important to have a reliable backup power source, especially one that can use the three fuel types. The LNG option is, generally, very useful because the outages can last several days and it can be a real challenge to refuel the gas tank. Natural Gas fuel is my choice

It was purchased for whole home back-up, I have access to all three fuels, but natural gas is my choice because of unlimited supply to my home. Just a little hard to start, takes two cycles but fires right on the third. Gas on the first. Works as described.

Liked it enough to go bigger

I bought a 13000HXT after hurricanes last year and did the recommended break in. My wife works from home so we can’t go long without power before justifying having a backup. It worked great to power the house including AC and electric water heater while still having use of normal electronics use. Very happy with DuroMax. i have this 13000 Duel fuel

got it in late 2023 didn’t use it till the storm of Beryl hit Texas had to set it up that day real fast and run propane bottles at the carport in front of the house put an extension cords all over the place

Fantastic Off Grid Generator

We live above 9000 feet altitude and use our 13 k generator to survive sometimes -20. The duramax gen does a great job at a fraction of the price of the stand alone gens. This is our 4th year and it still starts and runs like new.
