I bought this unit to power my home during power outages. It looks to be very well built. Instructions for assembly and operation are very clear. I needs just a bit over 1 quart of break in oil, so order 2 quarts. It looks to be a quality product I hope to use for many years.

Great generator - setup manual could be better

This generator seems really great - especially when you get it on sale. Three fuel options including Natural Gas make it perfect if your goal is to have a backup when the power goes out. The build is sturdy and the instructions are mostly clear. We struggled a little because the manual didn't show all the parts (e.g. the nuts and washers). Any time there are multiple sizes/colors of a part, it's better to show them all, even if it's only a drawing so the user can have confidence during setup. It...

purchased 2 months ago, haven't used it yet, but I fully trust this brand since my son & daughter own Duromax generators and powered through for weeks in their homes.

Great generator with options to fit many needs.

Hope it will not get a lot of use but is a great generator with a lot of options. Great value for piece of mind.

Great Grnerator

I bought the 13k unit because for one, wife is on oxygen. We live a ways from town so when we lose power it can take a.bit yo get it back. A few weeks ago had electrician wire a panel to hook up gen to power house and shop. We'll we did have a power outage after a terrible wind storm. It lasted for 3 days. I was pleased that the generator was able to power the whole house. The setup and starting the generator with natural gas was easy.

Warrenty Information Missing

My generator was setup and the utilities installed by a Duromax Dealer. After I broke the generator in, I tried to register my generator. I could not find the serial number. I checked with the dealer and he gave 3 possible locations. The only thing I found was the Emissions control information. My THird Duro Max

I bought this generator as a safety backup after moving to a new state and unsure of need for a backup. I had a Duro Max in Florida that was wonderful to have during hurricane power outages. I had another Duro Max in Tennessee that was wonderful during extreme winter power outages. Now I'm in Maryland, and unsure if this new one will ever be needed, I know I have a good product to carry me through.

Just got this gen set and have it wired to run the whole house off of natural gas. This is our third generator, and probably the best overall value to date. While you can’t not run every electric thing in your house, with simple planning and communication within the family, you can live VERY comfortably and really as if nothing ever happened. I bought this unit in hopes of never having to use it. I do run it several times a year and it is easy to start, run, and cutover from my street power. The peace of mind having a reliable easy-to-use generator is well worth the money.

Great Generator for the Best Price

I bought this generator a couple of weeks ago. I had a big list of criteria which I was unable to find a generator in my hopeful price range. This generator is a commercial grade unit with the ability to operate on gas, propane or natural gas. The wattage load can run my house’s necessary devices plus some convenience items. In my area whole home systems are costing 13-15K so I came out for a lot less than that.

Great generator

I bought the for home backup. I had a trusted electrician install a transfer box and store my generator near it. This past storm my power went out for four days. Everyone home was dark but mine! I called the electrician to thank him for the transfer box and he told me he has been busy fixing everyone else’s permanent automatic backup generators as various things went wrong. What can I say simple to use, simple to maintain, and great peace of mind. Thank you for a great product
