Great Generator for money

Having owned a Coleman 5 kw without electric start bought this unit. Fedex made delivery difficult so picked it up with a minivan. Setup was easy and loading oil was easy if the cover is removed. Unit started and ran well so far for several hours. Extra capacity supported window air-conditioners and one burner on the range. Operated water heater and wall oven. Good quality sine wave output. Like the output meter to watch for overloads. Unit is much quieter than the old 5KW. Good Deal

Great Generator!!!!

I am very pleased with this generator. The size, power output and portability were very important to me, as I wanted my wife and/or son to be able to maneuver it easily.

Excellent price for a 10,000 Watt

Had to borrow a truck and meet the Fedex semi at the intersate, but I received the generator about a week after the order. Checked it out and everything works as its supposed to. Working on hooking it up to the house.

Glad i got it

Ordered the 10,000 watt DuroMax and the shipping was really fast i thought. Put the wheels on it and the handels , added the oil and gas , hooked up the battery , pulled the choke out turned the gas on turned the key and presto !...Started right up !...went right into the idle control mode and it is super quite in that mode. So far im tickeled to death...Now to get it wired into the house and wait for winter and the next power outage...lol

xp10000e very nice

I live in nj and we lost power for 7 days . Lost all food ,well water, air,everything. So I found this site. Ordered the xp10000e. It come 3days later and I love it ,it runs everything in my house. Its the best thing I ever got. Thanks

nice unit

recieved the unit and was damaged during delivery.refused the shipment ,called mac tool and had no problem withem sendin another.recieved second one with no damage. as per past reviews i bought 2 qts of oil and a funnel so not to have any issues during assembly. assembled the unit and fired it rite up.not to loud and seems very sturdy during running some sound like a cement mixer .plugged in some power tools and all is well. I would recommend it so far.

From order to delivery took five days. FEDEX delivery was great. Assembled in less than half hour. Added oil, gas started in two seconds. Less wattage gen. sell for as much or more. Pleased with everythihg .

Went without power for 3 days with temps over a hundred degrees. Looked online for a generator, since all the stores around were sold out. Found this site ordered the 10000 watt. Recieved it 5 days later.. hooked it up to the main with the proper 50 amp breakers and safety switches.. was very pleased with how quit it was. Runs everything in house iam very pleased with the unit so far..

Fantastic for the Price

Easy enough to assemble, although heavy as expected. I Had to unscrew the face plate for the battery to hookup - not that big of a deal. I hired a master electrician to do a whole house 50 amp connection with 25 ft. cord. It runs all I need in the house except my new Amana 14 SEAR A/C unit. We may have to add a capacitor to smooth out or clean the current. The high efficiency A/C units are more temperamental. We'll see what the electrician comes up with. ain't this a tough world

What a nice way to start my day. This new generator makes work turn into pleasure. Started right up first turn on the ignition key. I let it run for about 3 minutes then I put the air conditioner on it, right now with a small grunt, the A/C was pur'n away without a glitch. I ran it for about an hour without even a small hic-up. Again, this is a fantastic unit and it comes highly recommended

Worked when needed

Bought this in late May of 2011. Assembled and ran for a few minutes. Connecting battery cable is tricky.Not much room.Then bought wire and outlets and had them installed in the house and fuse panel so I can just plug in flip a switch and power the entire house. Sat around for months and then power went off. Wheeled it out,hit electric start and plugged in-worked like a charm. Yes its made in China but what isn't these days. Others cost twice as much for 10k watts and this one has a 50 amp plug,...

ordered on 11-1 receive 11-23 because of back order. put wheels and handles on added oil and hooked up battery and fired right up. nice look to the generator also. will update once I use it.

Got it Today and Happy

I ordered this generator a couple of weeks ago and it was on backorder at the time. it said it would ship on 11-4 and I was hoping that was correct. I was pretty surprized when a truck rolled up today and un loaded my generator. the unit was packed very good and all I did was put on the wheels and handles added oil and gas and it started on the first pull. I ran a small welder off of it to test it and it didn't even effect it. I am very impressed.

Although I purchased this generator prior to hurricane Irene, we did not lose power. However, I did lose power during the heavy snow this past weekend, Oct 29. I fired this unit up and it ran the entire house. No lugging or drop in rpm's, no surges. Absolutely incredible. Awesome Generator

Shipping was quick and the trucking company put the pallet right in my garage. Put together in 30 minutes added fuel and oil and hit the starter fired right up. Hooked 50amp outlet up to my fusebox through an outlet box and this thing ran my whole house.I tried the hot air furnace,central air,stove and numerous fixtures and everything worked perfect.Would highly recommend this unit and will be ordering another one for my inlaws home.thanks to generator factory outlet also.

So Good, & it's TRUE!

I researched so many gas generators on the internet, wanting the most powerful & practical one to run my whole house. I found a large gap in price between 10,000 watts and 12,500 or higher watts. 10,000 would not run my air conditioner & the fan for the air conditioner at the same time, 36 watts. The service was good, the delivery excellent, tech answers quick and accurate. Gas use is 1/2 of advertised! It starts quick, runs so quite cars passing make more noise!
