Great tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is awesome! It helps to add flare to any piece of wood work. It is simple to use, and setup. I can see many more future uses for this product. It even works with the 8v Dremel too. Great to not have to worry about cords, although the workload for that tool while using this router was a little much at times. Otherwise this tool is well worth buying!

Great control for the plunge cut

The handles were well placed for control. I used both the edge guide as well as free hand. The edge guide was also easy to adjust and kept the router bit in place -- no slippage. makes etching and engraving easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the plunge router attachment, it was easier and smoother to etch and engrave. It was more steady than just by hand. It took a minimal learning curve but you can quickly adjust and the outcome is great.

So portable

Before this, I either had to bring out a larger router, or do things freehand. Well, I thought I was decent at going freehand, but after using this, and comparing results, I was wrong. This router is very useful, especially for small detail work. It's fairly simple to use, and adjust as needed.

Handy tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works exactly like you would expect, takes a little work to get it set up and some practice to get comfortable with how everything works together. Circle and edge guide are easy to install, easy to follow instructions. After a few cuts I’m sure I’ll be a pro, but definitely practice on scrap wood before moving on to a serious project.

Nice addition to my tool kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice addition to my tool kit. I've already used it to inlay a stone cutting board into my kitchen island using the #652 straight bit. Will be using it to make some frames for a bunch of glass etchings in the coming days. Only negative I can give is that the bolts used to attach the edge guide where a little tricky for someone with arthritis, need to have them permanently attached.

Best Dremel attachment yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was considering buying a plunge router to keep as a second one, not attached to my router table, for convenience. I will no longer do that because this is fantastic and meets all of my needs.

Space and money saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This router attachment is great for a small workshop or for the common hobbyist. It costs less than a full-size router. I don't think it will hold up very well after long repetitive uses on heavy duty jobs. The plastic is a little too thin where the Dremel fits in. With that being said, the versatility of being able to use different Dremel Rotary tools with it is great.

Great in theory. Poor in practice

Got a good price on this. Ultimately too flimsy to properly secure and way too limited in movement. Lacks real accuracy. The plastic wing nuts strip so easily and the sliding motion on the aluminium rods is jerky and far from smooth. Cheap construction. Don't bother.

Plunge router is terrible!!!!

I was excited to buy and try the plunge router accessory for my Dremel. As I started to set it up, directions weren't very good. Had A LOT of trouble attaching it to my Dremel. Finally got it to work, somewhat, but didn't stabilize well or cut very evenly. Very disappointed! Now I can't remove the router attachment from the hand piece!! Which renders my Dremel useless! Very frustrating and certainly not worth the money or hassle. Love my Dremel otherwise, although I can't use it with the router ...

Compact but versital

I wanted a small compact plunge router to cut keyhole openings in narrow picture frames that I am making and this unit provided me with everything I needed. It's size is perfect for use on smaller projects. I would highly recommend the 335-01
