What Customers Are Saying
The product offers a variety of cutting wheels suitable for different tasks, with an easy-to-use wheel change system. However, some users reported quality issues, such as the center hubs separating from the discs and the metal cutting wheels wearing out quickly or breaking. The product may be suitable for light-duty use, but may not be durable enough for more demanding applications.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews. After using regular blades on my Dremel tool for years, I decided to try the EZ Lock system. I wish I had tried this system a long time ago. First off, that little screw on the mandrel is hard to hold on to, especially when using gloves or working in cold weather. Stopping a job to look for a screw is a huge waste of time and can be frustrating. These new wheels last at least twice as long as the original ones did. When you consider the longevity of the wheels and how fast you can change them, t...

good idea, bad product
Would Not RecommendAfter going through all my discs on one job in about 10 minutes, I took it back to Lowes and go a refund. Its a good idea but bad product, the ez lock doesnt hold the disc very well and the metal inner ring ends up separating from the disc. Would not reccomnend this product.
Abysmal product
Would Not RecommendI purchased two of these kits and every time I started to cut something, the center "disc" (part that locks the cutting tool to the EZ lock bit) separated from the cutting wheel. I went through 5 discs in just about as much time and each one broke almost immediately, then threw both kits in the trash. This seemed like such a fantastic idea. Being a Dremel owner for as long as I can remember, this is the first time my Dremel tool has let my down. Will not purchase this product- suggest you don't ...

Found something great.
Would RecommendThis was just what I was looking for to cut some aluminum frame to make a screen for my daughter's kitchen window. It worked great for the cutting of the frame. The connector included in the kit is phenomenal! works like a charm! I would suggest that they make one of the discs with more of the cutting area on it, so I could have cleaned and smoothed the the cut I made. Other than that; I loved this!

Dremel E-Z Lock system is great
Would RecommendI have used cut off wheels on my Dremel tools for years - great for cutting bolt heads off and for cutting a screwdriver straight blade slot in Philips screw heads that have become buggered up. I picked up this kit just in time to work on replacing 6 fender flares on my 1997 jeep. The quick change function and the fiber reinforced blades are great. I went through a few blades, but they were great considering I cut the heads off of approximately 24 screws that could not be undone. I like this so ...
Ease of use
Would RecommendThis EZ makes it very ease to change accessories with a twist. Very convenient to use and speeds up changing of accessories.

Good
Would RecommendThis is a good starter kit for organizing cut off tools. Only problem I find is the lack of information on the kit and inside the kit when purchased telling what EZ476 wheel will cut.

Thanks for the feedback, and I will forward your comments. the EZ476 wheel is specifically designed for use on plastic.
Handy
Would RecommendJust purchased and used for installing laminate wood flooring and cutting metal bar for ceiling fan. For the simple tasks these are great. Saved a lot of time for the minor jobs that require specials tools. The blades don't last forever, but I REALLY used them. Not bad for the price and amount of blades.
testing limits
Would Recommendthis product at hand has been through test of my own, cutting through wood, metal, plastic, screws, nails, sheet metal, sheet stainless 0.0040"x 4" this took time than normal steel, fiberglass, PCB board, lasts longer than fiber re enforced wheel, lasted far longer than flimsy regular cutoff wheel saves money, last project from work, scrap piece of 0.500"x 2"x24" metal to cut in half, I started using saw zaw with rescue blade, after about 2min. some thing is fishy, depth of 0.1500" at the corner...
Operator Error!
Would RecommendContrary to some of the reviews on this item, if you use the item properly and ensure it is locked, then your money will be well spent and not going down the drain. This tool is a great improvement over the little screw holding the wheel on! The old wheels would crack just by tightening the screw. Dremel hit a home run with this product! You will see this a thousand times when using a Dremel, but you have to LET THE TOOL DO THE WORK!!!
