This is not Dremel Quality we all used to it.

Not last for more than 3 cuts of plywood, plastic and very this metal. The diamond wheels are much better by far. So sorry for I bought this set. I am not used to this bad quality from Dremel. have 90% of your products and attachments. However, the mandrel concept is really great but wheels are all of a very bad quality.

More expensive, but worth it.

The EZ Lock system costs more than the old style parts. The difference is that it is actually easy to use. The wheels are easy to put on and take off. Since it does not have a screw getting tighter as one uses it, the mandrel does not get worn down from the abrasive spinning. I have only used this system for a little bit but I would not want to go back to the old system.

Outstanding Metal Cutting

To be honest I was a bit skeptical about using these, but after a few weeks of use I'm surprised just how well they cut bolts. In one application I was dealing with a difficult to reach, heavily rusted (approx 3/8") bolt and I was able to get the dremel tool in position for a cut which went like a knife through butter on the Grade 5 bolt. Good value for Dremel assecories

This is a good handy combo pack of cutting, sanding tools for the Dremel. The ease of changing cut-off wheels is great.

Worked perfect

I rarely ever use my dremel, I only purchase the bits and accessories needed as needed. In this case I bought the metal cutting kit today. It worked flawlessly at cutting a hardened trailer hitch locking bolt. Cut through the half inch steel as intended in minutes. Wore half way through the first disk and switched to the second barely using 1/4 of it. No broken disks no binding.

Do not buy !!!!

this kit is a wast of money, used 4 of the cutting wheels in less that 5 mins , the 5 mins was more of the time of me changing wheels than anything . The wheels all broke off of the shaft after trying to cut a very thin sheet of back splash.

Great design

If you are using the cheaper off brand screw on cutting wheels that either strip out or loosen up when cutting or sanding, you need to switch to these discs! These have a simple twist lock mechanism that wont loosen up and there are no screws to strip out or lose. I wasn't aware of this new design untiI I bought this set. I won't buy any other brand from now on! The extra cost is well worth it!

the metal wheel cut sheet metal with ease. The plastic wheel without gumming up. Good stuff.

Very poor reliability

I bought this kit just the other day because it looked like a great improvement over the small fragile cutting disks. I love Dremel because of all it's great uses. However something went drastically wrong in the design process here. The only disks I have used out of this kit have been the metal cutting disks and 1 of the thin cut disk. 3 out of 4 of the metal cutting disks hubs became separated from the disks after about a 1/4 of the way through the disk. Surprise! Storage box for free

Went to buy "thin cut wheels" (EZ409) and found this kit. Cost wasn't for much more than a pack of thin wheels but I didn't have the plastic cutters (EZ476), so I thought I'd try them. They work great if used for the task intended. The large storage box is definitely a plus and a welcome surprise!

I have used these cutting wheels before, and could use another easy lock mandrel so this was a no brainer! I have a bunch of rebar to cut and these have been absolutely the easiest way I have found for cutting it! The metal cutting wheel cuts through like butter! Great price to restock my supply!

Sounds by the title that this product might not have held up -- NOT the case .... A friend recommended this product to my husband several years ago and he liked it so well, we decided to purchase another one for my father who has a dremel tool.
