Over the last 4 years we have been replacing 3 panel patio doors with a much better product. I elected to remove the interior molding myself while the contractor removed the old doors and installed the replacement doors and new exterior finish trim. I stuffed strips of fiber glass insulation around the new doors from the inside and tacked the original trim back in place. Great Stuff adjustable gun

The gun is well designed and the flow adjustable. The 3 product cans that I tried securely attach to the gun. The cans are heavy making the unit somewhat cumbersome. Best for large jobs vs small homeowner projects. Cleanup can be sloppy and would recommend using nitrile gloves. Gun cleaner works well.

Great 'stuff'

Great spray foam gun, easy to use. Works great with all the great stuff products. Wife is happy with all the things I have gotten done because of this product.

WOW, sorry for shouting. Wow this tool works great. It puts a much nicer bead line down than the old school way and cleans up easy with the cleaner. I got this tool about the same time I was having some work done on my house and to tell you how good it is, I let the contractor see it and he wanted to know where to get it. So if a person who does this stuff for a living fell in love with it that fast I think you will too. Hope this helps.

this spray foam gun makes Appling the sealant in tight areas easy and controllable best application tool I have used. would be a good addition to your tool box.

Good idea, hard to clean

Makes applying the product easier and you can still use what's left in the can but even with the cleaning solution, it is hard to clean thoroughly and is still a very messy ordeal even with gloves.

Right on target

This is a much needed assesory to apply Great Stuff Pro sealants, insulation and the pest block. This application gun worked well while I was installing the spray foam sealer/insulation. The gun flow control is a big improvement over a foam can wands.

Great Stuff Pro Gun

Most of us have used Great Stuff to fill cracks around windows and doors and we have seen those guns used with Great Stuff on the DIY shows. reusable foam gun

Good gun if you take care of it. A couple of tips: 1) Protect the tip, don't ding it. Cover it with short tubing or the plastic straws to prevent damage. 2) Keep acetone or cleaner handy and wipe the tip after every use so there is no foam on the tip. 3) Get some clear vinyl tubing 3/8 OD, 1/4 ID because otherwise, it is almost impossible to fit this with the can upright into small spaces. 4) If you use this upside down (can facing down) it will work for about 3 seconds and then start spra...

Falls Apart During Use

When it works, it's good. Certainly it's better than the plastic straw dispenser. But my gun failed. When replacing a can of Great Stuff, the gray fitting on top came undone from the gun. The result: Great Stuff spewed everywhere, from the gun, from the can, covering my tools, stopping work for the day. Why did it come undone? Difficult Use

It works well except for having to hold the can upright. Difficult to use in tighter locations. The can sticks up very high and prevents smooth application.

Pricey but nice.

I tried to avoid getting this but the little tubes that come with the other foam cans just didn't reach where I needed the foam to go, so I picked up one of these in spite of the price. I'll say that if your need justifies it then the money won't be wasted. The unit is well made and behaves as nicely as you would hope it would. Be cautious about letting too much pressure through when you start a new can (tighten the adjustment down) as it over "fluffs" the foam and shoots it out too fast, making...

So far I have only used this gun a couple of times and it works great. Read other reviews and decided to purchase one for myself. Glad I did. Stops as soon as you release the trigger and the control you have vs the can with the fancy straw is worth the price and frustration.

Works well when used as directed.

First off: The Lowes title is not correct. This is not used with "blown-in Insulation", this is a foam dispensing gun that is designed to be used with the Dow Great Stuff Pro one-part expanding foam that comes in the big 24 ounce cans. FYI - The smaller single use cans, that come with the cheesy straw, will not work with this foam gun. Don't waste your time and effort!

I used the "dispensing gun" once. I cleaned it as directed. Next time, gun didn't work. Took the whole thing apart and cleaned it out thoroughly. Still didn't work. To add insult to injury, I found out that one needs to use the entire can of foam at one time....and the cans expire quickly even if unused. A big waste of my time and money.
