Bosch bulldog vs Dewalt SDS

I bought this to sink 6" anchors into a slab with heavy aggregate, took 15.4 sec to drill a 6 and a half inch hole 3/8 of an inch wide with the Dewalt SDS. The Bosch bulldog took 27.4 sec for the same sizehole, I also noticed the bosch seemed to bog down twords the bottom of the hole, where the dewalt didn't hesitate. Its also worth noting the Bosch is much heavier and feels sturdier but the forward and reverse switch is incredibly cheap plastic. dewalt feels lighter but does the job in almost h...

Quality Tool!

Have used Bosch hammer drill in past. This Dewalt far surpasses it. Keyless bit change is a must. Speed and quality of tool is exactly what I was looking for.

Thors Hammer Drill!

Best hammer drill used. This things drills 8” holes like im drilling balsa. Great grip and shock absorbant handle. This thing is smooth and doesnt make much noise. Ive used a couple of others and this one beats them all! Definetly worth the extra money!

Worked better than an air chisel

I had a room full of tile to remove and my air chisel wasn't cutting it. Got this on sale and it removed the tile quite a bit quicker than the air chisel. I'm a fan of DeWalt tools and this one lives up to the DeWalt name. Good quality for a reasonable price.

Simply the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this DEWALT SDS hammer drill and wow. I was blown away by the speed and comfort drilling through concrete. I was installing pallet rack in a big warehouse so I had to drill over 100 1/2" holes 5" deep. I was amazed how smooth and how quick it drill through the concrete. There's no other hammer drill that can compare. I made money that day for sure.

I use it to take down tiled bathrooms and take up floors for renovations. It's simple to use and reliable. I couldn't be more happy.

Great anti-vibration handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vibration isolation handle does a great job of reducing hand fatigue. Also the depth gage is great. Since it has teeth it will not slip as you drill several holes. It's also quick and easy to slide.

Extremely Happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We mostly use it for drilling concrete for anchoring walls, etc. On this job we have a house built in 1894 that has a rock foundation. We used it to drill through the floor and rocks to run CAT 5 wiring. It performed well. It's easy to use and saves my crew lot of time and pain. It is a great tool.

Anti-fatigue handle is awesome.
