What Customers Are Saying
This diamond grinding wheel is an effective tool for quickly grinding and smoothing concrete surfaces. It is described as durable and aggressive, able to remove tough materials like old tile adhesive and paint. However, it does create significant dust, so using it with a dust shroud or shop vac is highly recommended. Some users noted it can leave grinding marks if not used carefully, and that it is an expensive tool. Overall, this is a powerful and effective concrete surface preparation tool, but users should be prepared for the mess and take proper safety precautions.

Made quick work of thinset!
Would RecommendI replaced the old tile in my kitchen with LVP, and that required getting the floor back down to the plywood. After spending a good bit of time attacking the thinset with a floor scraper, I went to Lowe’s and picked up this fantastic grinding wheel. It took a little practice to learn how to avoid gouging the wood, but once I got the hang of it, it just ate through the rest of the project. Huge, huge timesaver and much better end result.
Good tool
Would RecommendI liked this diamond cup wheel and did the job well that ground some concrete down.

Save your money.
Would Not RecommendIt does not last. Grinding paint off a gunite pool. Only did 50 square feet and half the teeth and diamonds were gone. Worn down almost an 3/16 of an inch on the edges. Will buy Rigid or Makita in the future.

Works Great.
Would RecommendIt works great, but I'm using it for an application it's not intended for. I'm using it to bring down and reface a concrete pool. Stripping the old paint isn't working as well as I would like, but once on the concrete it really digs in if you let it. Be careful and use light pressure until you get the hang of it. If you are looking to use this on a wider area, get the 4.5 or even the 7in to save yourself some time.

Wears down to quick. It would cost me roughly $250.00 to finish the job. I finally gave up because I wore out two wheels.
