Great saw

Saw has a lot of power and run time for the 20v lithium battery, the variable speed is nice in the trigger and hand grip is well designed. I would have given 5 stars but the anti splinter attachment needs a redesign as it doesn't stay in place

Great Jigsaw

I needed a jigsaw to replace my old, corded, Black & Decker jigsaw that kept overheating. I opted for the 20V Max jigsaw by Dewalt since I already owned some 20V Max tools and batteries. I am very happy with my decision. It made easy work of old 1" thick flooring I was ripping out of my kitchen. The battery lasted about 30-45 minutes under heavy use. I went through a few blades, but the ability to quickly change blades is a nice addition. It has a safety switch to prevent accidents as well.

Powerfull saw

Great saw. Easy to use. Nice to be able to purchase it as separate tool only so did not need to pay for extra battery and charger.

Great jigsaw

Used this Jigsaw while installing laminate flooring. Made the job easier. No cord to be in the way and worked with the batteries I already had.

Not as described

Not variable speed in the true sense of the term. It actually has about 4 speeds, and the speed I want to use always seems to be between two that it has. The blower that is supposed to clear the line does not blow enough at some speeds to actually clear the sawdust from the line (have to bump the speed up periodically to clear the sawdust from the line). Love DeWalt. Own many of their tools (sawsall, angle grinder, three drills, circular saw, etc). This one falls short of expectations.

Dewalt jigsaw

Thus saw is awesome!!! With volts it gas all the power you need!! The only problem was... the salesman said to go online and register it for warranty, I tried and it wouldn’t work. Talk yo an online ‘customer service’ person and was told that’s not the way to do it. I finally said forget it! If it goes out, I’ll just buy another one!! But not from Lowe’s tho!

Great!!!

I've only owned this a few weeks, and have used it a few times, and so far it's been great!!! I replaced an 18-volt Craftsman jigsaw with this one, and the Dewalt seems much, much more powerful. The built-in dust blower is awesome and makes following a line much easier!!!

Cordless convenience

I bought this a few days and have no doubts that I made a great decision to pull the trigger in this jigsaw.

20 volt cordless

Replaced my “dated” metal framed corded jig saw. Great product, I shouldn’t have waited so long. Better than my corded saw.

Great tool. Mad power..

I’ve been renovating my kitchen and being that a circular saw was the only power saw in my tool arsenal made me go to the store and search for a jigsaw. I recently bought the Dewalt cordless angle grinder “which has massive power but the battery drains quick” so I purchased the dewalt dcs331 to assist the job and add to my dewalt collection. By far the best tool of the lot. Very durable and strong. The battery also lasted a lot longer than expected. Definitely would recommend it.

Great tool but missing LED

Overall a great addition to the shop but it needs dust collector and, most importantly, a LED light to see where you’re cutting. The dewalt drills have such a light sobits unfortunate they didn’t carry that aspect to this tool

Great Saw

Received as a gift a few weeks ago, only downfall is no light...which would be really nice with the kind of work this is used for. I thought there would be one, since most Dewalt products have them, but sad to say...not. what were you thinking??

Solid saw with great power

This little saw has a lot of features. The shoe angle adjustment locks works well. It has a dust blower function you can disable that directs air down at the blade, no more constant blowing while cutting to see where you are going. The motor is powerful, much more than my corded ones even, it's awesome. The variable speed trigger is great also, much nicer than it being a separate setting that you need to stop and adjust in my experience. The only thing I find it lacking is a light - DeWalt is...
