Not for Wall Repair
Would Not RecommendI bought Presto Patch for wall repair, but now would not recommend for vertical application because it is too thin and will sag and drip. I used Platinum Patch this summer on another project and it would work better because it is much thicker, but was not on the shelf. I will continue to using Presto Patch on this project as a "base & scratch coat" and use topping compound to finish the surface. I don't know where I'd ever use this product again. Would RecommendMix 2 parts dry to 1 part water. Sets in 5 minutes.

Plaster was rotten and hard

Have used this product several times for miscellaneous filler and floor repairs. The thicker you put it on, the longer the drying time and it may need more than one coat, but it is a pretty solid product when finished.
