Would not spread, smells awful

Same consistency and aroma of feta cheese. I returned it, the clerk said it smelled like a corpse.

adheres poorly for a particular usage

At least if one uses a plastic type (fiberglass core) window screen as a backing for covering some void, for example where the the eaves rotted out, when you apply the stuff, it pulls back off easily in spots as you spread, which is quite aggravating. To get the job done, you have to let a first pass dry, then go back and cover the places where it pulled off. Maybe metal screen would be better in this regard, but it is also harder to work with and get stapled into place.

Good filler

I bought this to patch a couple of holes in a wood floor. It worked well for this. It was cheaper than other products for the same purpose. I tried staining it and it did not take the stain well. It did not dry as fast as I thought it would but overall I was satisfied with this product.

Great product, no shrinkage and quick curing.

Great product. No shrinkage. Just don't follow the 2:1 water mixture recommendation and it will work. I mixed it in a proportion that gave me a consistency that wouldn't run down the wall. Be quick working with it though, otherwise it hardens up quickly.

You want easy look for a different brand

It was way too thick to use. I kept stirring it but could only use a little bit at a time. It came out in globs & pieces would shed off a little at a time.

Check Product Before Leaving Store

Container was cracked/leaked and the product was all over the outside of the container and all over the bag it was inside of making the bottom of the box is was delivered in damp/soft.

Not quite as advertised

This stuff sort of worked, but it's so soupy you could not apply it with a spatula as shown. I could apply it with a paint brush, and then sand off the globby mess once it dries. But no way would it firmly fill even a grape sized vertical hole with out running out, or sit up on a putty knife like the images show. It behaves more like a plaster of paris than a spackle or patch. A good %20 of the material had settled to the bottom so thick it could not be agitated again. In my case, I was us...

It's verry misleading and does not last.

This product is more like caulk it sucks and does nothing on the package it claims.

Damaged in shipping

Despite double boxing and bubble packaging, the bag was ripped in shipping and product was everywhere in inner box. Instructions were not legible, so I haven't tried to use what product was salvageable yet.

Good sparkle if you have a large job; don’t store

Smooth spreading quality spackling compound that works well. However, once opened it must be used quickly or kept in a cool location. If kept in non-environmentally controlled storage for an extended period, it will lose its elasticity and mold will begin to form.

It is already mixed and ready to use.

Nope

This stuff sags and then cracks- terrible chalky flake-fest. I've been using patching compounds for years (used this maybe 20+ years ago) and just about anything is better- this finished, cracks, blisters, flakes, and bubbles just like plaster. Sorry, but it's not 1979 anymore. DAP platinum for heavy-duty, or crack patch for indoor are way better products
