This impact driver bit worked great, it gives you added control as the sleeve allows the bit to rotate while holding the sleeve giving you more control at the screw entry point.

Crescent Apex1/4" x 3 1/2" Phillips Impact Driver

First off I don't know where they get Phillips. This is a SQ2 bit. The bit firmly holds the screw on its tip so you are not fumbling to hold the screw and bit to get it started. The free spinning sleeve is a nice flexable rubber that is easy to hold on to and easy to grip when screw in to a surface. It also keep you from marring anything next to where you are working. Scratch-proof Installations!

If you build/replace things both professionally and personally, I highly recommend these to keep from scratching what you're working on. I used these bits to replace all the door handles in my home and there's not a scratch on anything. Very nice magnetic bit holder

Very nice easy to use 1/4” magnetic bit holder with a quick release feature that works really well. I used it to work on my bikes with out marring expensive components on the bike. The outer diameter of the holder is a little bulky which made it tricky to fit into certain areas but overall it’s a great tool to have on hand.

Well built, but not useful

I was given this product to review, and I haven't found an application in which it would be useful. The product I was given is a square head bit with a rotating shaft. The idea behind it is to use when installing doorknobs. I've been in construction a long time, and I have never seen door know hardware with a square head screw. The bit itself seems well built, and durable. I just don't know with what application it would be advantageous.

Perfect size

I got this knife to take on hikes in the backcountry with me. It has been handy and fits easy into the small pockets in my pack and fanny pack.

Does the job well

If you've used an impact driver you know that all bits aren't created equally. Regular bits will fail quickly under the load that impact drivers exert. This bit is very robust and I'm sure it will give years of service before it wears out. The fit in a #2 square drive screw or Robertson screw is perfect. The free spinning sleave works better than other brands I have in my tool box and being orange, it is easy to spot in the bottom of my tool bag. My next purchase will be a whole set of these...

#2 Square

This tool has been needed for a long time. I like that it's shorter and has a built in driver. The driver is a hardened #2 Robertson square and being made in one piece, it eliminates the problem of drivers sticking in the screw head and pulling out of the driver guide. Having a hardened tip it should last longer than the replaceable kind. Crescent has a reputation of making high quality tools and this lives up to that.

Nice Knife

The knife is sharp and I like the clip that allows you to keep it on your belt and within easy reach. It is easy to open but I don't like how close the blade release is to the blade when you need to close it. The knife looks nice and is easy to clean. It's a nice sturdy knife that comes in handy for many cutting jobs.

Name is deceiving

Watch out for the description. Thought I was getting Phillips head bits, but they were actually SQ2 bits. I was excited about these because of the protective sleeve that goes around it, but I really don't have a use for the SQ2. I'm sure they are still great, but a better description would be nice to avoid ordering the wrong bits.

Great pocket knife

This pocket knife has a quick access blade with a locking handle. The blade is easy to access with a small nub that sticks out of the back of the handle. Light and easy to use. Sharp and quick blade. Very good knife to have on hand.

Excellent quality

You don’t really think about screw bits until you are using them. Even then they usually just work and get no thoughts. Then when you see a good bit set like this one from crescent you start to appreciate that someone put some thought and experience into it.the non marring plastic outside that doubles as a way to steady the bit is very helpful. Strong steel with the black coating to last a long time. Highly recommended.

Neat idea

I got the tip to work on cabinets with, I like the idea just not sure on the functionality of them. The actual tip works great holds good seems to be able to handle a impact gun. However with the coating the tips won't go in any type of hidden head situation. Overall seems to be quality product the will last.

Utility knife

The knife is compact and discreet. I had a difficult time getting the blade to safely retract back into the handle.

There seems to be one of those bits that I always lose and when I need it I can never find it so I decided to give this brand a try. Great knife

This is a great knife. When you open it, it swings open easily. It stays in a locked position when open. However, when you wish to close it, press a little safety hinge first, and then close it. It will not lock when in the closed position. In other words, it is always read to swing open. It is sharp, sleek.

Buy this if you work on RV's

I was sent this bit to try and since I work on my RV and as anyone who owns one, the Robertson bit is they only thing they use. What I love about this bit is the plastic cover that moves freely. You can hold the cover and stabilize the bit when needled. It also helps in protecting wires or finished areas in tight spaces.

Drill Driver

This review is on a Cresent APEX 2 9/16 covered quick release bit holder. It is a 1/4 drive. Took this out of the package and tried it driving 2”drywall screws in wood. Didn’t think much of the fat grip but after using it does work well. As far as the marring of work it might have a place but for me it would get in the way in places. I thought the magnet was a little weak for holding a bit and a screw. All in all I will be using it.
