Cheap, Disgusting and Amazing
Would RecommendThis tool is just a few bucks. You stick it in the drain and pull it out. The results are amazing. Not surprisingly, the stuff you pull out of your drain is pretty disgusting. The surprising thing is it pulls out a hair ball FAR longer than the tool itself. There is no way to clean it and use it again, but it is not hard to throw away. Check the video on YouTube. It sold me.

I ended up using it a total of three times, each time coming up with a good amount of hair. Beware, the hooks are rather sharp, so I took the hair off with a plastic glove on, also because it was pretty gross with all the dirty hair. Would RecommendUsed this tool to remove hair from our sink. Did not fit in one of our tubs because of the metal drain that was built into that tub, but worked great in the other tub. Can't believe how much hair gets clogged up, but I use this tool before using Draino every time now! This tool is meant for one-time use.

Would RecommendI was so impressed with this product I had to get online and write a review. It took a little effort to manuveur it all the way down the drain to the handle, but once it did...WOW! What came out was quite a sight. Drain is working fabulously again. Probably should do this more than every 5 years like I did :) MUST HAVE for people with long hair

Would RecommendBathroom sink was really slow at the rental house. Used my electric SureFlow Drain Cleaning machine and was happy some hair came out and the drain much faster now. Had bought this Zip-It long ago and thought to try and see how it works. Really flexible, pushed it into the drain trap then pulled out. Wow it got a hold of what looked like a med size rat. Plew it was only hair. Great product for this type of clog.

Would RecommendCleared bad drains in 2 passes each. You would not want to see what came out! I don't know why they require you to rate features on a plastic snake... it is neither Mac or PC compatible. Needs more USB ports? Whatever, it cleared our blockages.

Would RecommendWe have a curved drain in our shower and this product worked great for it. You just have to work the tool around the curves by hand and it should work fine. Also, recommend you let some water run into the drain for a second before starting. It helps to loosen the clog. Great product for the money!!
Didn't quite work
Would RecommendWell at first i thought i was getting some where, kept pulling tons of hair out the drain, then i hit the main clog i guess and like some of the other reviews it binds up under pressure. Good for small clogs, but i ended up using the $1 cobra plunger and it did the job.

Would RecommendWe just moved in to a rental house and didn't know what kind of clog we had in our shower drain. I tried a sink cleaner that didn't fit because the drain is divided into three parts. This drain opener is small enough to fit and I pulled out a bunch of hair in just a few minutes. It's sturdy but bendable and definitely long enough to reach the kind of clog that we had. The only drawback is it's like holding a thorny rose stem. It should have several inches near the handle without 'thorns'.
Greatest Tool Ever for Removing Hair from sink
Would RecommendMay not go all the way to the trap or too flimsy for some but I think it is the GREATEST THING EVER. I shed lots of hair, drain cleaners are an expensive and insufficient remedy but, the Zip It fixes it every time in just a couple of minutes. For under $3.00 I think it is unbeatable - simple, inexpensive, environmentally friendly, easy to use. May not do everything but for getting hair and gunk out of bathroom sinks it is the best I think!!!
WON'T GET THROUGH THE TRAP
Would Not Recommendi WAS DISAPOINTED - THIS THING DOESN'T HAVE THE STRENGTH TO GET THROUGH THE TRAP - TOO FLIMSLY - SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE STRONGER. MIGHT BE O.K. IF JUST GOING INTO A STRAIGHT PIPE, BUT USUALLY THE CLOG IS IN THE TRAP.
