Really useful

You cant beat this little gadget. I live in a house full of women with beautiful, flowing locks of hair. So a drains get clogged alot. This thing is awesome!

Works like a magic!!!

I had a clogged drain in the sink bathroom. I bought this at lowes store after reading online that this one has a good review and price. This snake works like a magic. After two pushes and the clogged is gone. Just like there is a vacuum underneath the sink sucking all the water. The price is very affordable, very easy to use and most importantly, IT WORKS!!! Def. recommend this product!

Fantastic!!!! Why didn't I think of of it

Wasted good money on 'chemical' drain cleaners trying to unblock my tub drain. Only succeeded in discoloring the chrome plug. Purchased this and within 10 seconds of use had a huge clump of hair and a hairband!!! Job done......... Brilliant tool :)

Best 2.50 I've ever spent

Tried all kinds of bottled drain openers. One sweep of this drain stick and woolaaaa! Water draining. Wiped the hair and goop off and it's ready to go the next time!

So Simple, and Useful!

Our tub was draining slowly. We put this down the drain it and it grabbed a lot of hair. Most hair was gone in the first pull, and it was all gone when we put it down a third time. Now the tub drains wonderfully!

I had been trying to clear a clogged shower floor drain and had read online that a metal hanger wire would work well. While I did pull out a couple of clogs with it, it was very difficult to use and kept getting caught in the drain cover on the way out. Not this thing! I inserted it and it came out with a nasty clump of hair, which immediately cleared the drain enough for the standing water and Dirty Jobs drain cleaner to run down. So easy to use and so effective! Just get it already!

I was dreading using chemicals and plumber snakes on a slow tub drain where I know my wife's lovely long straight hair had transformed into a wet ferret in the drain. Had the drain cleaner in hand, bought the plumber's snake auger just in case, but saw this on a nearby hook, and thought at the price, It was first at bat. Pulled out the ferret impersonating clogs in five minutes, and drain is fast again, vortexing and gurgling as I haven't seen in a month.

Too Short

If this product is designed to reach down into the sink trap, then 99% of the time, it will be too short. I tried it in the bathroom sink and it didn't even reach the trap. When I tried to pull it out slowly, the teeth would get caught on the drain lip and jerk loose, sending bits of nastiness everywhere. I took the trap off and cleaned it out by hand, then stuck the tool into the pipe coming from the wall and when used that way it worked well. Just make sure you have a bucket.

good alternative

I have used hemostats to clean my tub drain for years. I had a clog of hair I could not reach until I purchased this product. Tub drains great now!

Best drain cleaning tool ever.........

I am very jealous of the person who thought up this neat little gadget. The simplicity alone is astounding. The fact that it works so well makes it genius. No messy chemicals, no need to call a plumber, or pull out those hard to use snakes. Most of the clogs in sink and tub drains seems to be in the first 10-12 inches, this can definitely reach and take care of most of those.

I wish I had thought of this.

Every houshold should have one of these. No more having to clean the stuff stored under the sink, getting on hands and knees with a bucket and wrench. I wish I had thought of this. I'd be rich!

best gadget ever!

This does a great job getting the hair out of the sink drain....but it is also awesome getting the vacuum cleaner unclogged!

Hair and goo remover superior tool

A $3.00 plumber, yup ! So when the sink or bathtub gets slow what do you do: Pour good down the sink and wait for it to to work { if this does not work your trap is now full of caustic liquid that you do not want to get on you when you get out the wrenches and disassemble everything} Take the drain gas trap out and clean it Call the plumber Well this thing is long enough to go completely through the trap to the main drain line, and flexible to turn the corners, and will go underneath the stopp...

Works great!

Shower started draining slow. Husband sent me to Lowes to get this. He also said I would have to get and ugly thing to put down there to catch hair if this didn't work. Stuck this down the drain (through the small hes on the decorative plate that covers it) and a second later pulled out a huge chunk of hair that could have passed as a small animal. Literally took seconds, working good again. Best little (super cheap) gadget ever!!

Was easy to use .Did the job of clearing out hair from drain. Very happy and would recommend this to every one ..Cost was an easy thing on a budget.

Gets the bad stuff out

My wife has long hair and that stuff builds up in the shower drain. This little tool goes and grabs that junk and pulls it right out. Shower goes from stopped up to freely draining in no time. I do recommend wearing latex or nitrile gloves when using this because the stuff from the drain is gross.

Drain Stick cleans drain quickly

I was happily surprised at how quickly this drain stick cleaned my bathroom drain. No need for a plumber this time, I could unplug my very clogged drain all by myself. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a plugged or slow running sink or tub.
