Great Product, Even Better Company

I have owed one of these for several years and like it so much I bought a second one with rechargeable battery pac. It works great and does all that I want and need it to do. Coast has outstanding products for what I Figure is "Blue Collar" people at 'Blue Collar" prices. The few time I needed warrantee service I couldn't be more pleased with it. I own several other brands that do the same function but I always grab my Coast when needed.

Game Changer

The light is just what I needed for work. Very Bright, great battery life, and allowed me to extend my work for storm repair and data collection. The lense is fairly well protected, but I plan to buy a scope cover as a precaution.

Excellent headlamp!

I have one complaint, the clips for the rechargeable batteries break fairly easy and there aren't any replacement parts available, so I end up needing to purchase a new battery pack. I feel this should be a replacement part available for purchase or better yet sent for free, so I don't have to spend another $70 to use the headlamp.

Best headlamp I have ever owned.

Very satisfied with this product both for the quality and the pricing, I got it for a great price also I absolutely Love the battery life of the rechargeable battery pack. One of the other great features I like is the spindle button to power on and switch between the brightness settings.

Best headlamp available

I'm a retired firefighter and if I knew about this light when I was working it would have made my job way easier. I use it daily for fishing and it is strong enough so I can see in the darkest night. The rechargeable battery maintains its strength for quite sometime. Will not use another light.

Totally satisfied

I purchased the HL8R head light for doing building automation installation work. I’m currently wearing this unit for 8 hours a day 5 days a week and have no discomfort. I fully charged the battery and it’s been working for three weeks on the lowest setting. The lowest setting illuminates my work well and it’s nice to know If I need more light, I have plenty at the click of the dial. I also bought a spare battery and fully charged it for use when the first battery is discharged and needs charged....

Superlative Work Light

I have owned this light for three years and use it for farm work at night, remodeling at night, working in attics and crawl spaces, hiking, camping, hunting vermin and snakes, weed eating in the peaceful cool of the summer night... the list goes on. I have literally beaten the ever-living snot out of this light. This is the best head lamp on planet earth. Period. I can scan my tree line at 700 feet from the house with the spot light. Turn it to flood and it lights up a whole room or a dark...

Coast’s HL8R is hands down the best and brightest!

I purchased 7 of the HL8R headlamps for my wildlife research lab. We study North American carnivores, ungulates, and birds, so we need the best to do our work effectively and safely. Lights up my life

Great headlamp. Its very easy to use has multiple settings and easy to use. I work in the woods and it had made my job easier cause battery life lasts longer and the extra battery pack makes it better for me to continue to do what I need to do. I'm extremely happy with the light and plan on getting my coworkers the same or similar coast lights
