I was looking for a bracket that was 16 inches long. This bracket is 18 inches long (meant for a 16 inch deep shelf). I will be returning these.

Would RecommendMakes installing the shelves easier. But make sure you have the right size for the depth of your shelf and the distance between the parrallel shelf wires!

Would RecommendThe shelf brackets work very well. They are easy to install and are very strong. The previous owner of my home had the wrong brackets on my shelves and they did not support heavy weights.

Maybe for a 15" shelf
Would Not RecommendI bought these to replace the support brackets installed with the house. But the angle was wrong; there was no way it could reach both the shelf and the wall. I tried every bracket size available with no luck. I measured the "16 inch" ClosetMaid shelf sold in stores - it measured 15 inches. Eventually, I was able to find Rubbermaid brackets built for a 16" shelf.

Failed anchor.
Would Not RecommendThe rail itself is ok but the anchor kit it comes with is garbage. The expanding anchor uses a SMOOTH NAIL which slides out just as easy as it slides in. I had to replace the anchor kit that came with this set up with an more stable drywall anchor kit from a picture hanging kit I had lying around.
