Much smaller than last year
Would Not RecommendI purchased 20 of these online and had them delivered - bad move on my part. Compared to a couple I still had on hand from last year they are much smaller, and not as compressed. Maybe a little more than half the volume, yet somehow still 2X the size of a bale of needles. Go figure.

Would Not RecommendNot at all like last year’s product. Not only lots of stick's but thorny branches as well. Also I found that several bags already broken down so bad that the product was like dust and crumbs.
Bales are Inconsistent
Would RecommendPicked up 25 bales. Only 3 were truly "clean." Other bales were clearly full of sand and broken down pine needles. Color of clean bags was consistently reddish brown whereas lesser quality was reddish, then a lot of dried out brown, etc. Did the job of what i needed. Inferior bales just dont cover as much or go as far.

The advertised description of the product was not correct. The amount of straw in the pack was less than expected. The bales were not 99% stick free. Some of the bales were full of sticks.
