Protecting the Generator while it Works!

The GenTent can be frustrating as to assemble as I had to rethread the corner anchors several times. Adding a color key to the strap line would go a long way to ease installation. The GenTent fits well and I expect it to withstand heavy rain and winds. I ran the generator with the GenTent installed and access to the pull starter, gas tank and control panel was without difficulty. I'm very happy with the unit and expect it to preform for many years

VERY easy to assemble, holds up to strong winds.

I bought this storm shield to use on my champion generator. Easy to assemble, we had to assemble ours on the fly in the middle of a power outage with only a head lamp. Works great! Used with the flat champion extension cord this set up has been and will continue to be a life saver! The shield is a great addition.

Not for all Champion Inverter Generators

I bought this for my Champion Open face Inverter model 100520 and this is not the correct cover for this. It was very difficult to install so I ended up ordering the correct brackets from Gen Tent to mount it to my Inverter generator.

I ordered this cover about a month ago and finally set it up. It was a little difficult to get through the instructions but once it was set up I'm sure I will find it very easy to set up in the future.

Doesn't work as well on units with higher exhausts

This is a great product for generators with exhaust mounted lower on the unit. I bought 11000 watt dual fuel inverter/generator model 201417. I started a refund for this shield becasue the generator kept shutting down becasue of CO build up under the shield. I decided to give it one more try and arrange the shield so that it is high enough that it does not cover the exhaust. The shield is higher than what I wanted but it works now. It just doesnt protect the generator from the weather as well. T...

I recently used the champion inverter generator cover during hurricane Milton, and I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. This cover kept my generator safe and protected for days.

Installation Manual hard to follow, but found an excellent video online! Great product! Recommend to anyone operating a gas-powered inverter/generator in inclement or nasty weather!

Love this product

This cover is a perfect fit and pretty easy to assemble, I have not had any snow or even 70 mile an hour wind yet but I'm sure that this thing will hold up just fine. I love how it coordinates with my 11000 watt and 5500 watt champion invertors

Living in Lee County NC I have a lot of storm related power outages sometimes for a full day. My Champion generator always starts and allows me to keep a freezer full of wild game meat, my house refrigerator, my coffee pot and a few lamps going. The recently purchased rain/storm cover allows me to run the generator in all weather including rain, snow and wind. The cover is well designed, made with quality materials and I had it assembled and installed in 10 minutes.

Great foul weather inverter cover!!!

Great cover that allows us to use our Champion Inverter at the race track to power our motorhome during rain delays. Very easy to assemble, but unfortunately needs to be taken apart to haul our inverter in the small area we have for it in the trailer.

Works as advertised

Bought after the hurricane so my Champion Generator wouldn't have to be used under my patio. Used in the rain once and worked as advertised. Still like to see under stronger winds but as for waterproof, worked just fine. Would recommend.

Functional and Attractive!

I purchased this generator tent to protect a new inverter generator that I bought for my motorhome. The instructions were quite detailed and it took me a couple hours to put together, but now that I've done it, I could probably do it again in 15min. However, I can just loosen 1 strap and lift the whole thing off without disassembling! Just take your time and follow the instructions. Raincoat for a generator

After the last hurricane we had, power was out and rain was persistent. Ended up building a makeshift house for it. I have a new deck now and don't want to build on it. The material feels strong. Getting the mounts in place is a little bit of a juggling act but once it's strapped up, the cover is sturdy. The fueling flap is plenty big. Extra skirt hangs down on the panel side to protect connections.
