Great weather protection

Got this for my 4000/2800 Champion generator. It has worked flawlessly for years during power outages. The storm cover is durable protect my generator from weather when I run it safely outside away from the house. It will also work when I upgrade to a new Champion generator.

Good product but needs modification

I bought to use with model #201469. It does work, but the exhaust will melt the strap if you follow the instructions. I just carefully use the wheels as the corner to place the straps around. It's a pain, but it works. It takes an extra 5 minutes, but I can use in some really bad weather and that was the point of buying it.

Instructions a bit confusing, fits perfect

Purchased approx 2 months ago to us with our generator this winter. Box states 3 easy steps to install in less than 15 minutes - then I read the manual... that took 15 minutes... and a magnifying glass - more than 3 steps for sure. Three of the plastic arms broke where they attached to each other. Glad there were extras. The skirt should fit around all 3 sides, or offer 2 skirts. Once assembled, it seems to be working well. great addition

The storm shield is a great addition to the generator. We live in a snow belt and it's a must have when running in bad weather. It is easy to install and the fit and dimensions are perfectly compatible with the Champion generator we have. The material is weather resistant and protects the machine when running in foul weather.

Quality product, Installation not simple.

I have been eyeballing this cover for a while now. I finally ordered it and got it the other day. The Installation was a little more complex than I expected. It wasn't too bad. Just more time consuming than I expected. Overall I'm happy with it and will test it out fully on an upcoming camping trip.

Cover for my 5500 Inverter Generator

I purchased this cover for my Champion 5500 Inverter Generator. I watched the same YouTube video many times and read the installation manual also many times. It was a challenge going thru the install and I kept going back to the manual and video. I tweaked things until I got it right. Don't recommend for 11000 watt champion generator

Don't recommend this for 11000 watt inverter generator model 201423. Go with storm shield model 100376 instead because the generator has an exposed frame to connect to and work better for that shield. This model has issues with the belt covering the plugs you need to use.

Good universal size to cover many generator sizes.

Received the product in the factory box. Canopy was in new condition, free of defects and dirt. The fiberglass support poles seem well made. The "Gator Gromits" are sturdy yet flexible; I am assuming this for any strong winds. The remainder of the plastic frame is quite rigid and appears not very flexible. Good rain cover

Good product. Attaching the strap around the generator (in the correct place) was challenging for 1 person. Once it is in place, assembly was easy.

The instructions are a little hard to follow but I was able to figure them out. It is a solidly made cover and I am sure it will work out well to protect my generator from the rain and snow when needed.
