1st Generator

I plan on using this to power my small shop until I run power permanently. So far I have added oil and gas. I powered the Christmas lights and charged a phone. It is pretty quiet. I had it on the porch and was still able to carry a normal conversation with my wife.

Arrived broke but runs like a Champion

Showed up and the box was smashed in. Corner of the panel was cracked. Still waiting on the part to show up but I'm still running it. Rums great, quiet. Efficient.

Best generator i have had

This is the most quiet and reliable generator that i have ever had. This is my third and is by far the best. It is a little heavy, but i am going to get the wheel kit, which will make it easier for me to move around.

Best investment for storms

Product works great during hurricanes and being without power for several days. I recommend anyone that lives in coastal areas have one. Maybe I should have purchased a larger watt, but it runs everything that I need in the house.

Great generator

I bought the Champion 4500 for camping and for power outages at home. After several hours of research this generator had the best bargain and quantities that I needed. I have had it for a year now and it has started every time and ran without issue. So glad I got a Champion.

Great product

We bought this unit to power our fifth wheel Rv and it is less noisy then the predator we had for household use.

Good value

The bad first: I put in about 1 gallon of fuel in the tank (1/3 of its capacity) and the fuel gage did not move from empty at all. I have not tried to fill it up fully yet to see if the gage will unstick but otherwise the generator ran well. It is less loud than my lawnmower, but probably not by a lot. The wheel kit is very worth it, moving the generator around after installation of the wheel kit was super easy. I ran my window mounted AC unit, and a few lamps as a test. No issues. I use this during traveling with my 42 foot 5th wheel it runs one AC over night on one tank of fuel.

Initial thought

After prep and fluids added I was very happy to hear, literally, the smooth idle and running of this generator. Also great is how quiet and rattle free this generator is. Break-in and first oil change complete, still happy when generator is under load. Thanks Champion for another quality product!

Generator worked great right out of the box. Started right up just as described. I purchased the cover and only negative is the handle must come off to install the cover for storage. Order wheel kit for convenience, worth it. Generator runs quieter than expected.

Would buy again, and recommend

Plan to use if we remote camp with no power at site. Day to day use will be in barn as I have no permanent wiring. Backup power for home heat. Temps now in single digits, will be able to power fan for wood insert if power loss occurs. Looking forward to quiet use and attaching wheel kit for mobility.

Great value and good quality

I own a toy hauler that has a 5500 Onan watt generator that works great but uses a lot of gas, I also didn't want to put a ton of hours on it. I tried several other portable generators, that I returned before buying the 3500/4000 watt Champion. A 3 yr. warranty comes standard, the only feature it does not have is a gas gage, but it's very quiet, runs microwave, coffee maker and heater and slips gas. Very happy I bought.

I would buy this product again

This generator is perfect. Provides the power I need for our travel trailer in a compact size with a long run time and for a good price
