Great upgrade

This was a great way to upgrade my 8 year old opener

Monitors well

I can monitor when the door is open or closed. I can not open or close the door from the app.

No smart integration with Alexa.

It works well enough. For what it does. What it doesn't do is integrate with Alexa. You have to use their app, so for smart things, it's pretty dumb. I would not have bought this, but I already have two other myQ garage doors in the home I purchased. Because it doesn't have Alexa (Google? Apple?) I would not recommend this unless you are already locked in.

Great when it works, doesn’t work for long

I have had this system for a year and I am surprised to be getting this review now. The system is good. It does not give real time experience. This is an issue for me.

Video notification

Easy to install. Invaluable as our doors are on side street corner from front door. Works perfectly.

Better Options Exist

I bought this to integrate with my Tesla so I could avoid using a remote. The geofencing is spotty; if I stop as I pull out of the garage to ease passengers getting into my car, then the geofencing will fail and will never close my garage door. I can still close the door using the 'close door' option on the screen but then I have to wait to make sure that my garage door starts to go down. Just buying a new remote would have been a better option; one time cost and batteries are far, far che...

Incompatible and left out in the cold

Very incompatible with very common openers. This product looks advanced but really left me without! I used the parts and took the loss.

Nearly worthless without subscription

I thought I could use this device to allow my 2023 Tesla to operate my garage door. My older Tesla has a HomeLink transmitter, which allows me operate the garage door from the car’s touchscreen, a nice convenience. I could acquire this convenience with the MyQ device, but only by paying a subscription. I refuse to pay a subscription just to open my garage door, so I’m back to using the original transmitter that came with the garage door opener. The only thing the MyQ device can do without a sub...

Works perfectly! Never know if add on products are going to work are promised. This was easy install and works flawlessly.

Simple Device For Remote Access to Garage

Great option for remote access to garage. I am able to be notified every time my garage door is either opened or closed. I can also remotely open/close the door from my phone when not at home.

Dispite following the exact directions, i have spent endless time trying to get it to work. Maybe it works 1 in 10 times, this product is not what it claims.

It works

Product was reasonably priced and seemed to operate as designed. As soon as winter hit the low battery message came on. Replaced battery and followed instructions dozens of times and could never get the low battery warning to turn off.

Garage opener

If you have a Tesla this thing works great! well worth the price. I've been using it for a few months now with no issues.
