Great Product, Terrible Field Service organization

This is the second generator 13 KVA I purchased. First one 3 years ago then the new one for your guest house next door. The service people who are local representatives refused to come for the annual service of my 3 year old generator, Because I did not buy the new one from them. I bought the new one on line for $1,000 less than the dealer wanted. Anyway, make sure you find a local service person to do the annual service before you buy one. Great product

Our generator/transfer switch has functioned perfectly. The products are very well built. The instructions provided with the generator and transfer switch made the set up and wiring very easy. I very much like the automatic exercise schedule.

So far we have not needed the generator for a power outage. The test runs each week seem to be going off without a problem.

Great design with superb features

I have had several generators on a remote home location and am glad to have one that is automatic. When I found out about the built in control relays for other home systems I knew I bought the right system. I installed it myself and first time worked as planned. This will make our retirement much better.

Excellent product

This is a great investment. Gives me peace of mind. Something you hope you never need but sure glad you have it if you need it. Lost power once and the rest of the neighborhood was eerily dark!!!

Performs as advertised

I've needed backup power twice since installing this generator and it's worked without a problem each time. I installed this unit myself and it took more time and research than I expected. The first problem I ran into was the chance discovery that the fuel regulator was partially plugged by a bug nest. That led to me disassembling the regulator and cleaning all the associated parts. Compact, reasonably quiet, good features.

This generator offers a great value for the price, where I'm from we get real cold weather, the oil and battery heater do the job, the unit starts without hesitations every time. The transfer panel also offers good value. Overall anything you could want and need in a 11kW automatic standby generator.

Meets all expectations

The transition from normal power to backup power is practically seamless. Exactly what I was looking for in an emergency power unit.

The install team did a first-class install- VERY professional. Kind of neat the way the generator performs a 10 minute trial run every other Sunday night- nice to know it was always ready from these trial runs. Like everything about the unit

We love our unit, but have only lost power a couple of times for very short periods so far this year. Each time it worked great. We are hoping we don't loose power for a long period of time but if we do we are hoping that all goes well. We were very pleased with the installation and contractor who installed the unit.

IT'S GREAT-DEPENDABLE

WE HAVE LOST POWER 10 PLUS TIMES SINCE WE BOUGHT IT AND EVERY TIME THE GENERAC KICKS ON AND WE GOT POWER. BEING ELDERLY THIS IS A LIFE SAVER AND GIVES US PEACE OF MIND AND LESS ANXIETY. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT IS THINKING OF GETTING A GENERATOR.

Excellent Product

This product worked beautifully in its first real test during a recent winter storm which caused multiple power outages. It was nice being able to go about life "as normal".

Very reliable...

Since installation a year ago, our power has dropped out 3-4 times and in every incident, the generator had started up and kept our house powered through out the outtage without issue.

Peace of mind

I have wanted one for years. Flooded basement and kerosene heater to keep pipes from freezing got old real fast. Slept great the other night as the power was out for 6 hours. Woke up refreshed and ready for work while my wife was sleeping soundly. A great blessing in every way.

Generac backup generator

A generator is necessary to prevent flooding at our residence in the event of a power failure at our residence. The Generac generator has been reliable and is quieter than I expected based upon stand-alone generator experience. Maintenance is somewhat expensive but has been worthwhile to date.
