Looks great, works great…until it doesn’t

Went through 4 of them in less than a year. They just keep stopping. Great looking and makes fantastic coffee, but the ones I have had the displeasure of using have not been reliable.

Great coffee maker

Nice coffee maker. Matches my new appliances and brews coffee hot!

Good coffee, poor durability

The coffee maker looked great out of the box but the quality did not last. The bronze portion of the handle is cheap plastic and starting to chip away and the display is failing, making it difficult to read the time or make the correct number of cups

Wifi connection unreliable

Wifi connection keeps dropping. I've gone through the setup steps multiple times. It gets to the final setting up stage on the network and then it says it failed.

Great performance and features but carafe not good

I like this coffeemaker. It brews good tasting coffee and the electronic features are excellent. Only negative is my carafe handle finish is already separating from the metal handle. I have always hand washed it ( never put in dishwasher) so don’t understand why this is happening. This carafe should be replaced free! Also wish the water lid was removable so moisture would dry easier.

Beware! No Replacement Parts!!

It’s great until there’s an issue. Then the replacement part will never be in stock. I’ve waiting almost a year to replace my matte black glass carafe that is peeling and oxidizing. This is from hand washing alone. It’s never in stock and I’m not buying a whole new machine.

Great coffee machine. Quality screen and settings. Easy to clean. Cracked at the bottom after light use.

Material on machine and carafe handle is flaking

After a year and a half, the rose gold design feature on the machine and the carafe handle is bubbled and flaking off. I guess it is due to the heat it is exposed to as a coffee maker. If that is the case, it is a real design flaw. Now my concern is whether any flakes are landing IN my coffee. I was excited about the rose gold design of this machine when I purchased, but now that design element looks cheap. Disappointing.

Great coffee, until your pot breaks.

We LOVED the coffee this machine brewed, however when the carafe cracked and we looked for a replacement, we were told we had to buy a WHOLE NEW COFFEE MACHINE, as GE does not sell replacement parts for this model. Very disappointed, as we have had this less than 1 year.

Go get yourself one!

Disappointed Customer But Loves Cafe as a Brand

Received for Christmas, GE Cafe stainless steel, cannot see serial # but can include pic of back. I do not feel it has been performing as expected. Despite following the user manual and adjusting the settings as recommended, the coffee maker does not heat up adequately. As a result, the coffee brews at a suboptimal temperature, leaving it lukewarm rather than hot. Additionally, the coffee produced is consistently weak, regardless of the strength setting used. Coffee maker of your dreams!

I was in search of a new coffee maker that was sleek, had a glass carafe, and had the auto-brew option. This one surpassed my expectations! The Café is beautiful and functional all in one. There’s many temperature options which is also nice. Highly recommend!

Great Machine!

This machine is the best brewer I have ever used. It’s easy to fill with grounds and water, brews quickly, and the flavor of the coffee is smooth with no bitterness. I am using the permafilter that came with the machine, as well as the default “gold” brew setting. It looks nice on the counter as well.

One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had at home!

I did a lot of research to find a coffee maker for our home and this has been a wonderful success! It makes delicious coffee, very smooth… and it’s a beautiful appliance. The features make it easy to adjust the strength and the number of cups. Great product!

I WANTED to love this coffee maker...but I can't

I want to love this coffee maker but I just can't. It does several things great. I do like the app as I can set multiple schedules to brew at different times in the morning and different cup amounts...you only buy a smart coffee maker when you want it to brew in the morning and be ready when you want it ready. Which brings me to the not advertised or BEST FEATURE of this coffee maker....since it's connected to your Wi-Fi when you unplug it or if you have a power outage...THE CLOCK SETS ITSELF...

Great coffee!

Love the coffee maker, but only gave it four stars because of what I consider a design flaw. That design flaw is that the water container does not have any way of evaporating the moisture during the day, and I must prop the lid open so that moisture does not build up and create a mold situation. Otherwise, this Coffee maker makes a very good cup of coffee and I like the fact that there is a mobile app which allows me to change the brewing or start it from another room.

Love the look and it makes a great cup of coffee. Two things that could be improved. Every time we take the glass pot out coffee/liquid drops on the hot pad. It would be nice if it was a 12 cup pot.

Pretty coffee maker

Love this coffee pot.. we wanted something that matched the cafe appliances and it’s perfect..makes great coffee as well.
