Nice pruning/brush saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife. She says it's to heavy for her. I used it last weekend for some brush removal. I thought it was perfect. Easier than getting out the gas chainsaw. And quieter too.

Great saw despite glaring issue.

Great saw, but it likes to leak. Easy enough to refill and put a towel under it in order not to make a mess.

Chainsaw 101

Good homeowner product & adds to other Craftsman battery operated equipment I own so batteries are all interchangeable & chargers handle all different A Hour batteries ! Two items that could use a little attention are that chainsaw does not come with bar & chain oil & the instruction brochure could be a little more precise about starting procedure for first time operation particularly if a person has never worked a battery powered chainsaw previously !!

Sold a used saw as new.

Lowe’s sold me a used saw. It had been opened and oil installed in the chain oiler. Reboxed and sold as new. Not a good experience at all

Go big or go back.

Over promised, under performed. On a full charge, seemed to lose power half way through a 2x4, a 4x4, even worse the second time around.

Incredible tool

This saw is amazing. I bought it for an option for chores that don't require the use of my heavy gas saw. It exceeded my expectations. Very light weight and the battery last a long time. Ignore those reviews of people complaining about the chainsaw coming off. They need to learn how to cut without getting it stuck and pulling on it to get it free.

Good saw

I read one review saying the saw would not work no matter what. Not intending to offend, but it took me a few minutes to figure the safety break needs to be in the run position ( back towards handle) hope this is helpful.

Chainsaw

I was very happy with the craftsmen chainsaw. I just wish the battery power switch. Was in an easy location. Can be hard to reach with off set cuts. Surprised how long the battery has lasted. Not cutting big oaks trees.

Perfect lil saw

Absolutely love this chainsaw. It's perfect size for what we need it for. Lightweight and durable. The battery lasts longer than stated and it works with my other Craftsman batteries.

Great new favorite tool.

Every time I get another one of these Craftsman V20 tools it becomes my new favorite and this chainsaw continues that trend. I was wary about purchasing a battery powered chainsaw, thinking that it would be far too underpowered to be useful. I finally decided to give it a try and quickly started regretting all of the time I've been working without it.
