Would RecommendIt is a great purchase so far I had purchased a 52 inch in 2017 poplar name and this appears to be a better and more solid mower. It cuts good bigger tires and controls seem in sync like they are supposed to be.

Would Not RecommendThe mower was trouble from the start.. engine blew up after 4 uses. the manufacturer knows there is a problem with the MTD engine. my repair shop has received the wrong engines for replacement 2 times..

Mower no longer moves after 2 uses
Would Not RecommendMower ran and cut great the first time I used it, tried to cut grass the following week and it stopped moving halfway through cutting my yard. Lowe’s customer service was helpful in scheduling a return and refund so I will buy another mower from them just not a craftsman.

trouble from the get go.
Would Not Recommenddelivered when I wasn't home and not started... no receipt. mower wouldn't start, but I was able to track it down to a blown fuse...used the mower 4 times and it performed as expected on the 5th engine locked up.. had to make so many phone calls to finally get an authorized repair shop, well I didn't have the receipt, more hoop jumping... thankfully I have a extended warranty... I will update.

doesn't last
Would Not RecommendThis mower lasted a month and a half and stopped working. Lowes didn't have a pickup option, so we had to rent a trailer to take it back to be repaired. we were told the repairs would take 2-3 weeks. I waited the full 3 weeks, & now our mower is lost. Not only does the mower not last, but the customer service is HORRIBLE.

Flat Tire within 4 hours
Would Not RecommendTire was flat within 4 hours of mowing. Lowe's won't help. Craftsman won't do anything until I rent a trailer and drive it to a service center for them to confirm it is a warranty issue. Only mowed for about 45 minutes and I have a normal yard, no high brush or anything. No reason for nails, screws, etc. that would cause a flat. I've spent days on the phone between Lowe's and Craftsman any nobody will do anything to help me.

Delivered with dead battery
Mower is cuts and handles well. However, mower was delivered with a dead battery. Lowe’s didn’t have one to replace it with so we had to go elsewhere to purchase $$$ a new battery for our new mower!
