Great mower for residential use

Overall this is a nice mower, the seat is comfortable, the ride is smooth, the cut is nice, the storage is nice however not well placed, but nonetheless it’s a nice mower and a great value at that price point. I had some issues with the service from Lowe’s trying to return the first mower they sent me when it didn’t work but that’s more on personnel and not the mower so I digress. Love this mower, does a great job. I have 5 acres and it does a great job in a short time. I’m glad I bought it, no regrets.

Broken 12 days after return window closed

My 30 day return window ended May 27, 2025, broke on June 8, 2025, just died in the middle of mowing. Thought ran out of fuel, added, but nope, it backfired when trying to start. Lowe's will not take it back because it broke barely 2 weeks too late (ridiculous for it to break within six weeks, and only on my third time using it). A tire-ing experience

The force to use the steering arms felt excessive and was much higher than I expected. The mower was advertised as well-suited for a rocky environment. I was disappointed when it lost a tire within its first 15 minutes of use. The tire came completely off the rim, and it took me the rest of the day to find a local tire shop that reseated tires on an 8" rim. The tires should come foam-filled. My first zero turn mower, and what a great tool. It costs a lot less than the competition, but has all the features I need. A minor down side is that I have not seen a blade line showing where the cutting line is - but after mowing a few rows, you figure it out. Oh, and when pushing the mower (such as into the garage) one has to pull a pair of wire hooks, which is awkward. My seat did not need adjustment, but I took a look at that, and it does not seem to have much leeway to move forward and...

Won’t run

Mowed for 20 seconds and it wouldn’t stay running. Call the warranty number and they don’t have any record of my warranty purchase. Would rather just get my money back. 2800$ is crazy for something not to work.

Tough machine and I love it!!

I've always bought used zero turns. That being said I don't know why it took me so long to buy a brand new one! This baby is fantastic! Usually, it would take two hours to cut the grass because of the little hills and dips. This monster flowed thru the yard! I love Craftsman!

Love it

Absolutely love this ZT mower. I'd never ridden one before so it took a few laps around the yard to get the hang of it. Once I dd though, it was awesome. It cut my lawn maintenance time down considerably.
