Great for a toolbox

This item was purchased as a gift for a relative to use in his new tool cabinet. He liked it but wants a second for the metric tools.

Not the best

It's OK. Unless you plan on moving the tray around: like to your car or backyard. Doesn't hold sockets as secure as I would like

Clean way to store sockets.

Organizes sockets securely and keeps them in order. Figuring out how many sockets for each size and moving the sliders on and off the rails is the hardest part. I haven't checked yet but hopefully they sell more socket holders in each of the sizes if more are needed.

Handy and practical

to few 1/4 inch clips

Great

I had the old metal clips that kept falling off the bars...hated them. This is a nice set up and holds the sockets firmly but not too tight. I would like to know if you can get extras though. I came up about 10 short. Any help would be appreciated.

Too Many 1/2" Clips

This product has too many 1/2" Clips and not enough 3/8" and 1/4" clips. Also, Craftsman does not sell these clips. So I have too many 1/4" and 3/8" left over sockets that are not organized. Also, I recommend that Lowe's get together with Craftsman and bring this issue to their attention. Another recommendation is to have clips that are labeled SAE and Metric that can be slid into the base like the socket clips..

Doesn't fit correctly

All my toolboxes are Craftsman and I have several. I bought this socket organizer to store a ton of sockets I inherited from my dad. I bought this without measuring-stupid me! It looks like it would be a perfect fit from front to back in my giant toolbox. Nope. It's off by about 2 or 3 inches and I have to use it sideways which leaves an odd amount of space in the drawer.
