I purchased this to be included in my grandson's first tool box. At 25' it is longer than he will need for many years. This tape has a smooth movement and recoils nicely.

Would Not RecommendMaybe I just have a defective tool, but have two problems that make this tape really hard to use. First there is a slight curve up to the tape at the hook end. You don't notice it standing in the store, but definitely do when trying to measure a board to length. Related, the hook itself needs more friction points to help it stay hooked. It's really hard to keep the end hooked on the board so that you can make your measurement. Second, it's hard to grab the tape hook and pull it out when wearin...
