I’ve only had a chance to run this generator for two hours. It seems to operate as advertise. I used it during a power outage after a tornado to run an upright freezer and it did fine until g ty he power came back on. My only complaints so far: I thought the price point was a bit steep for a generator of this size but this was the cheapest generator I could find that would do the job. Craftsman Generator 2500 Watt

Purchased this generator back in the summer to use for my mobile detailing setup and that was a huge mistake. I’ve had nothing but issues from the very first week I brought it home. It idles rough, sometimes it won’t crank at all, very strong odor comes from the exhaust along with smoke. Very disappointed in this generator. Do yourself a favor and skip on buying this.

Worth every penny!

Worked perfectly out of the box. One pull and it fired up. Runs smoothly and super quite.

Will not run

It ran for a few hours then it will shut off. When you re-start it it will run for 10 seconds then shut off again. It is not the oil or fuel, just a faulty unit. Others may have luck with it. However, when you buy the warranty beware. They won't return it at the store and the warranty department has no record of my warranty even though I have the receipt stapled to the lowes pro protection plan pamphlet. Buyer beware before you light $800 on fire.

Bought it new at Lowes 3 years ago. Started, though not easily. Immediately started surging. Took it for certified repair, and it stopped surging. But NOT EASY TO START. I go start it 3-4 times per year, actually use it 1-2 times/yr, and often keep "True Fuel" in it. Now, it won't start -- yesterday, today. Nothing. Nada. Will not start ? Can't get a manual ? A night mare

Bought for my camper

This has been the best addition to my garage and camper. I use it for everything. Great quality (made by Generac). Highly recommended.

I can barely get my inverter to start and stay running I mean it's been nothing but a headache since I opened the box and I hate this bc I love my craftsman power tools

no eco mode on/off

although this generator has the power to run RV air conditioner not being able to turn off the low idle makes it useless for my Rv. very disappointed with this easy addition.

Runs part of the time.

We have had trouble keeping this running. Got o love when warranty runs out and it starts happening. will run great then die for no reason. We have found opening the gas cap and then leaving it kind a lose it works. Not sure if it is a gas cap issue or it is vapor locking. Either way it should not be happing. It will run air conditioner for a short time but not long term pops the breaker.

Simple quiet and efficient.

The things I was researching when buying this unit were who makes it and where. Generac makes it, but overseas. However, it’s light enough where any capable adult can carry it with a full tank of gas and it pull starts with ease on the first stroke, even after months of storage. It comes with oil, a funnel and a nifty spark plug tool, so ensure you fill and check the level before you try and start it, or before storage. Hurricane Ida tested

I bought this generator last year but barely needed it. I’m needing it now in Houma, LA and it’s coming through with flying colors. I’m running a refrigerator, window unit AC, and other smaller items like a coffee pot and fan. I usually get about 6 hrs on a tank of gas. I definitely recommend.

NOT as box says.

This thing is almost too heavy. Box claims 30 amp service BUT the writing just above the twislock states 19.2 MAX. If i would have seen that when purchased, i would have NOT gotten it. Also, the engine light comes on when it has a constant moderate pull. It IS relatively quite.

Flawless and Dependable Power

Here in WI, we just went through a four-day power outage. My Craftsman 3300 worked flawlessly for the entire outage - the only time I shut it down was to add fuel. Each time, it started with a single pull...it was quiet throughout the night and provided enough power for our sump pump, fans, electronics/phones. Would highly recommend this product.

Great set of generators

Great set of generators they worked beautifully! We bought two of them to parallel together they will definitely run one of our ACs that’s all we need plus everything else just cannot run or a microwave or an AC at the same time as far as anybody else complaining that they won’t run his AC it’s because you need to have a soft start unit installed it may shut off the first time all you do is restart it again. 1st thing. Ive owned 2 of these over the past 2 years. I use it as hard as anyone. It runs my 35ft RV with a 15,000 btu A/C. These models are manufactured by Generac. This is an exact clone of the GP3000. There are things that this manufacturer do not make clear enough. I swear half the negative reviews here would not be there if they did. The most important thing for owners to know is that you must clean the spark arrestor on a monthly basis. Otherwise, it runs fine with no load but dies as soo...

this is a well built generator that has no trouble running my 16000 btu marine air conditioner. Also very quiet and easy to start.
