Piece of crap

This generator is less than 100 days old from the date of purchase. It is brand new and will not start. Nobody within 50 miles of my location can do warranty work. I have tried to return it to Lowe's and they will not accept it so I'm stuck with a $800 generator that will not work.

Totally Disappointed for Multiple Reasons

I ordered the CMZGIAC3300 directly from Lowe's. Because of weather issues, it was delivered by FedEx five days late. That isn't a fault of Generac or Lowe's. FedEx, however, wasn't doing deliveries when UPS was. I bought a new gas can from Lowe's on Friday before delivery. The box showed no sign of damage whatsoever. STAY FAR AWAY!

This thing simply does not run. I followed all of the instructions for storage, but it won't start no matter what. Read online about the nightmares most people have with these units and what it takes to get it running again. Can't return. Top 5 worst purchases I've ever made.

The jury is still out

Difficulty starting for the first time. Had to return it to Lowe's where they were able to start it. Had myself and three other guys attempt to start it before returning it to Lowes. Bought it at a different store than where I returned it. Was Christmas shopping near the store of purchase but carried to back to a closer store for an exchange. If you get what you pay for, then money well spent

I've only needed it once so far during a public safety power shutoff for about 18 hours. Easy to set up out of the box, add the oil and fuel and you're good to go. (and the oil was included in the box!) It is surprisingly quiet compared to generators I've been around in the past. It is pretty small and about as heavy as a well packed suitcase but less than 50 lbs. We haven’t opened it! We bought it in anticipation of the cold spells of winter, we’ve lost power for up to 10 days in the last 2 years. My 2 BIL have the same gasoline generator and he always speaks great about it, that’s why we bought this specific one

no lowes

bought at lowes mistake 30 day warrenty contacted craftsman had it for 2 years covers only parts. only ran it off and on to make sure when i needed it the generator would start. during the hurricane would not start. now its in a repair shop estimated cost 450 dollars. i must pay thank you craftsman for standing behind your product

I bought this thing during a snowstorm Thursday 12-5. I just needed something to run my furnace because my house dropped to 54 degrees from 72. I brought it home, read the instructions out in the cold. Prepped it. Removed spark plug, primed the oil, added gas. Started it up, black smoke rolled out of the back. Good Generator

Does great handling a freezer and a refrigerator during power outage. Decently fuel efficient and only moderately noisy. Easy to start and has some nice output features. Build quality was an issue for me which is why I took a star off. 1st one I got had a manufacturing defect which prevented it from running, but Lowe's did a great job with the return and getting me set up with a new one.

48 hr return policy even over thanksgiving.

Did not use it. Lowes manager would not take it back. Dont buy this generator and dont shop at Lowes in Auburn, WA.

Nightmare Experience

I purchased this generator for an outdoor charity event. Unwrapped it the night before the event. It would not start. Called the manufacturer and walked through a series of troubleshooting steps. The generator still would not start. Took it back to the store at 6am the next day to learn the store could not refund or exchange a brand-new generator that I just spent $700 on. In addition, the store does not have loaner or rental equipment. The unconcerned manager said my only option was to leave it...

Great little generator

I’ve used this generator several times to run power tools in the pasture. It works great, easy start and nice and quiet. It is light enough for me to put in the back of my Polaris ranger without any problems

The generator sucks. Never would start. Had to buy another generator.
